Particl is the upcoming decentralized p2p marketplace with multi-currency support that boasts a suite of encryption tool to allow users to buy or sell, trade and chat with anyone, anywhere in the world. It is being developed by the [Shadowproject](https://shadowproject.io/en) team, who are currently transitioning the *entire* team (plus new additions) to the Particl platform. 

Currently, Particl is in the first seed round that began Saturday, March 18th after their announcement of Particl the day before. As of this post the seed round stands at 41.1% complete. If you are interested in participating in the seed rounds then the sunsetting Shadowcash (SDC) is what you're going to need. You'll also need some BTC if you want to take advantage of the bonus being offered. 

# Account Creation

You'll need to create an account before you can start converting that SDC. Let's get that out of the way:

On the [Particl Homepage](https://particl.io/) you'll see the option to Create Account in the top right of the page. Give it a click to start the process. 

You will land on the registration page which is very straightforward. Enter in a username, the email you'd like to use for registration, and create a password (If you haven't taken the time to use one, you should research [Password Managers](https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=password+manager&*), they're a life and time saver)

Remember, by creating an account you are agreeing to terms and conditions. The team lists this on the same page, but it's always good to put this information front and center when possible:

If you have no issues with these conditions, go ahead and click 'register'. 

Note: You will have to complete a 'captcha' to verify you are not a bot. Simply follow the instructions and click the appropriate boxes to complete this.

If done correctly, you should then be directed back to the landing page with a message to check your email:

I have yet to receive an email from the platform and I hit 're-send' many, many times. It appears that this is currently not functioning correctly, so don't panic if you're not receiving an email. Check your other email folders to make sure it isn't hiding somewhere, but if you don't find it don't be too surprised. I joined the [Particl Slack](http://slack.particl.io/) to see if anyone else has experienced this and at least one person confirmed that they hadn't received an email either. 

# Sending SDC + BTC for bonus PART

Go ahead and use the information you just created to login into the Paricl site. You will be directed to the Dashboard which will look like this:

This is your main view and it gives you a quick glance at your SDC balances as well as the optional premium balances in BTC that gets you %15 more PART. 

Below your balances you'll find two buttons that will give you the address to use to send SDC or BTC to the site. 

When you send SDC (which arrived *much* faster than the BTC premium), it automatically populates the BTC amount required to get the bonus. When your BTC arrives it will automatically be applied to the premium, and if you are planning on sending multiple amounts, it looks like there is a timer on each transaction of 24hrs where you'll have to send the premium to take advantage of the bonus.

After the 5th day of this seed round you will still be able to deposit SDC and be eligible for a bonus via extra BTC, but it will no longer be at the fixed USD .15 BTC rate.
