Going for geocaches in my surrounding - Part 1

Almost three years ago we moved to a region in The Netherlands called Westland.

I explored already a lot of the region while walking the dogs. Today I'll start exploring it even more by searching and hopefully finding geocaches.

For the cache I'm trying to find today I'll only need a pencil and my smartphone. It's a traditional cache. That means you walk straight to the coordinates where the cache is hidden and you should bring a pencil yourself because it's a micro-cache with most likely no pencil inside.

On my way to the cache, there is this beautiful windmill [De Vier Winden](http://www.devierwindenmonster.nl/). Normally it is active every Saturday from 2 - 5 PM but at the moment they are renovating it.

### I'm almost there - 50.5 meters to go my smartphone tells me.

But then a big disappointment - there is somebody standing near the point where I assume the cache to be.
<b>One rule when you go geocaching:</b> never search and log a cache when people are near the cache!
There are these stupid people destroying the cache when you're gone.|

OK - luckily, the cache is not too far away from home and after waiting some minutes I decided to come back later again which worked out fine.

I'll tell the owner of this cache that the logbook is wet and full - he must exchange it with a new one.

Nice way to get to know your neighborhood. There are always areas you don't go to. Some turn out to be quite surprising.
