Hey creative community, time for a new Character Design Contest:
The **Nectar Speedster**

I was inspired by the [30th prompt](https://peakd.com/hive-140877/@cabalen/the-menagerie-day-30-prompt) from the Draw A Day community’s Menagerie Challenge of @cabalen. I can imagine the character forming in my imagination just by reading the prompts and I thought that I would start a contest using the said prompts. I already has asked Krisette her approval and gave me the go so I want you guys to take part in it so read on. 

Are you ready to design the fastest little character in the botanical world? Let’s go

**THE PROMPT**
Design a character based on the followingt:

1.  Species: Bee-Fly hybrid
2.  Pose: Zipping through flowers
3.  Accessories: Racing goggles
4.  Theme/Vibe: Nectar speedster
5.  Must-haves: Stopwatch, nectar bottle

You can go literal or wild with it. Remix the species, change the outfit, set it in space if you want just keep the heart of the theme: speed, nectar, and chaos among the blooms. Make it your own and above all give it a personality.

**HOW TO ENTER:**

1. Create your original character design based on the given prompts.
2. Use your desired medium or art tools, could be traditional or digital
3. Post your entry under the Draw A Day community
4. Repost this contest announcement so other creatives will see it
5. Use these tags: #nectarspeedster, #characterdesign, #drawaday
6. Deadline: when this post expires but I can extend if necessary
7. Optional: Add a short backstory or stat sheet

**PRIZES:**
I will choose 3 winners based on
