The rate at which youths are striving to get RICH nowadays is quite alarming, they all want to get rich without working hard, they want fast money and that is what Is killing them now..

Youths of nowadays don't want to know about working hard to get money, they just want a fast means by which they can acquire wealth and that is not possible..you can't be sleeping 24hours a day and you expect poverty to leave your life..

In the cause of getting rich, youths these days go into different activities one which can prove very fatal to their lifes..

Youth crime is now taking over the World and there have been different cases reported and when you see it , the people involved are the youths all because of what ??? WEALTH....

Out of the youths of nowadays, 35% are willing and able to strive and work hard to become rich and due to lack of jobs and qualifications, they are denied the opportunity of working to make ends meet, those set of people when they go into criminal activities,

        CAN YOU BLAME THEM????

While the remaining 65% don't want to work, all they want is endless riches without hardwork, they are eager to make wealth all because of one thing or the other and as a result of this, they go into different activities that ends up taking their life...

Their excessive lust for money, made them go into criminal activities and there are different examples of such crimes..

Crimes like, Theft and robbery, cyber crime, sexual harassment, rape, kidnapping and so on...

It pains my heart when i go on the internet and i find the youths of 16-25  with labels of different kinds of crimes, be it internet fraud, cyber hacking, sexual harassment, rape and armed robbery..

They are just too preposterous, they engage in all this things because of one thing or the other and that made them go to the extreme lengths of engaging in criminal activities and at the end???no gain for them..

These acts needs to be curbed very fast because we have younger generations taking over, we don't want them to be like this generation where crime is the backbone of all youths...

We don't want the new generation to walk in the footsteps of these present day youths because there won't be anyone to take over the good legacy of the country..

We have to make the world safe and secure for the new generations, we have to make certain that these crimes are things of the past and to do that we have to be able to go the extreme to ensure the survival of the new generations...

As long as there's lust for money, material things and there is desire for more things, youth crime will continue to grow...we have various things causing the increase of these crimes and some of them include:

        FINANCIAL CHALLENGES

Commiting petty crimes is one thing and becoming a hardened criminal is another thing..
The rate at which youths lust for money is increasing, they don't want to experience any financial hardship because when they don't see money to spend again, they have no choice but to go into crimes...

        PEER PRESSURE/INFLUENCE

I remember my parents telling me not to keep
many friends expecially the lavish spenders, I didn't understand until I grew up a bit...

The ones born with silver spoons, they spend so much on things that are irrelevant and you as their friend, moving in and out with them and not having enough will witness how they spend extravagantly and you start thinking that If I had this money, I will do this and that and at the end you result to doing different things..

The lust for money now grew , when they now tell you to stop going out with them because you don't measure up to their standards and that is when you now start engaging in different activities to make money all because you want to belong to their caliber...

    BULLYING AND DRUG MISUSE

These acts has pushed alot of youths to making the wrong choice in life...

There are different crimes attached to these acts examples are raping, violence, and sexual harassment...when you dont get high, you can't thing properly...

The drugs affect your physical, mental and emotional well being, when drugs takes control of your body, you tend to become violent when you don't have any money to buy more and from there you engage in criminal activities to source for drugs and in the process you rape and sexually harass victims ...

Above listed are some of the reasons why youth crime continue increasing and this need to be stopped very quickly to ensure the safety of the new generations...

    WAYS OF CURBING/STOPPING YOUTH CRIME
                 IN THE COUNTRY
   
Youths need to be watched from time to time, so as to prevent them from engaging in heinous crimes..

 - Government should provide a service that makes sure youths are engaged at all times, they should all be occupied with work and not leaving room for idleness because an idle mind is the devil's workshop...

 - There should be recreational activities for the youths where they can all show case their God gifted talents and from there they get paid for their services and they can make ends meet...

- Government should create a part time job for the youths, where they can all work and earn a minimum amount of money for their upkeep..

 - There should be adequate provisions of Job to both the educated youths and the uneducated ones, because each and every one of them have their own usefulness and there by coexist in the same field to ensure growth..

 - Government should not allow gathering of all sorts for the youths expecially when it is not growth related..

 -  Forces should be on patrol so as to keep the country clean of unhealthy gathering's of youths..

 - Government should publicly make example of any youth caught in any crime and be shown to the eye and ears of the public to instill fear in the others...

 - There should be an organization that educates and englighten the youth on how to be self established and how to put their talent into efficient use to make income..

 - There should be strict rules guiding unemployed youths to a necessary job findings..

 - Government should provide both  financial and moral support to the youths with business ideas on how to be self established... FUNDS should be available for them to carry out their plans ...

In conclusion, the lifes of many are at risk if these requirements are not met... We have youths taking over soon and we want them to be a good influence to the forth coming generations..

We need to make the future of the upcoming generations our first priority and learn to put them first then we can be rest assured of leaving the world into safe hands...
