MY GREATEST COMPLIMENT WAS A LIFE TIME OPPORTUNITY 🌟🔥🌟

**Life challenges and hardship will make a man take up a job he or she prays he never have to do to survive in life, whenever we make this resolution in our heart, life challenges, hardships and hurdles just come at us at full speed that we are left with no other choice than to settle for the job we never wish to do**...

In the last two years I have been faced with **3 BOSSES** that is to say I have been privileged to work in three different organizations, not only that I run some part-time jobs that pays me wages on daily bases all to just survive a day....

While growing up we were taught to be always hard working and diligent in whatever we do especially when it comes to an outsiders job because **it is the way we treat and care for other people's business we will also handle ours too in the future**...

That is to say we must make sure we do our best while serving under our boss, I have been doing that but it just doesn't end and I am getting tired..

I wish I was a child forever lolz, don't be surprised I am saying this but it is now I see why father is always frowning at times...
Bills, families and and relatives here and there to cater for lol, it's just so crazy...

Well I wish i can be a child forever because at least I won't have to work to survive and I will always depend on my parent for survival but I realized the more I grow is the more my needs and wants increase, my bills are increasing with my growth and that is why I have to work to earn a living and to also support my parents when things are hard...

I am lucky enough to work under different organizations all of which I learnt one or two things under each and every boss I served under but the one that stood out tall amongst it all was my job as a **LOAN COLLECTOR**....

This kind of job is what I marked in my diary with red pen, it means this is the type of job I never want to do in my life, there are many reasons why I don't to do a job that is related to handling money 💰💰💰...

The Yoruba people will say; **MONEY IS A SPIRIT**, no matter how careful you keep a certain amount of money on you, the probability of you loosing the money is 85/15 percent...

There is no way you can deal with money as your daily job and not have any issues regarding loosing money, it didn't stop there also, on countless occasion I have heard from my friends who runs POS businesses on how they loose money on daily basis...

These testimonies made me hate jobs that deals with handling of money but what can I do when life threw challenges and hardship at me...

It came as a shock and I was forced to take up the job of handling money, I was presented with no other opportunity and It was a job that was paying well and the working hours are in minimum compared to my job as a teacher...

That was how my life as loan collector started but I remembered before I took up the Job, I prayed that until I am going to work in that organization, I don't want to be a victim of loosing money...

     MY GREATEST COMPLIMENT IN 
       RELATION TO MY JOB...

I started my new job early mid April 2021, the first day I went I was dressed up in a full office wear, I wore cooperate dress, I was on black shoes with a brown shirt and a black pant with a jacket...

I was dressed like a business man and I got to my new work place, on entering I saw the look I was given, they all saw how dolled up I was and welcomed me and then I remember the look in everyone's eyes when I entered...

**They looked at me like I am Omo ajebutter lolz, little did they know that I was Omo ajepako lolz 😂🤣, I was forming tush because that was the first time**....

I saw everyone dressing in a casual outfits with sandals on but mine was over the moon lolz, I ignored them and resumed my job..

The first week was a tour to my customers shop and for me to get acquainted with them very well since I Will be taking over soon...

I started working and then I started seeing the true faces of those loving customers in the past, lolz they were monsters and was only forming to welcome me...

I was the only guy working in our organization excluding my boss, I was taught to be sweet, strict and stern with my customers when the need arises...

My boss complained of how much is held up in that particular location and then I told him by Gods grace I will get those money out before I leave the firm.

I started applying my strategy and I was getting them out one after the other and I was marking the bad customers off because they were bad market, I marked them off after they finish paying up our loan....

**Out of 29 bad debts customers, I was able to get 15 of them to conclude their loan in 3 MONTHS by hook or by crook and on the forth month I did my monthly customer experience and turn up review to my boss and it was at this moment he realized I have collected almost the bad debt from the customers**...

He said good job and that made me happy, in another three months I concluded 13 more bad debts and did my review and my boss smiled and gave me a hand shake...

I received an hand shake and it was like **I received an handshake from GOD** lolz 😂🤣🤣, he asked after the last bad debt and I said I will find her by Gods grace...

As usual I went out for loan collection that fateful day and after my investigations in the market, I came to know she closes the shop whenever it's 2:00pm because that is the time I get to leave the office...

That fateful day my informant called me and told me she is at shop, she was owing us **#100,000** for more than 6 months with lot's of accumulated interests...

After receiving that call from my informant, I took permission from my boss and went to confirm and on getting there I saw her and then I knew I couldn't handle her alone and I called my boss up immediately that the last bad debt is about to run from shop again...

He dropped the call and in minutes my boss arrived and shocked her, he went directly into her shop and ask for his money, he was so furious that he threatened her of arresting her if she doesn't pay up...

I was at his back and she was pleading and my boss wasn't listening, I even started pitying her but my boss was on red that day that he made sure he collected #80,000 before he left there that day...

He collected it and I confirmed it by counting it and he told me to make sure I collect his balance starting from the next day...

After that day lol 🤣🤣, I became my boss favorite lolz, my workload increased same as my bonus and benefits...

On getting to the office that day, he was just telling everyone in the office to start acting like me, he called his wife into the office because it was a husband and wife business...

He told her about what I did and she also came out and was praising me, shortly after my boss called me into the office...

He asked me how I did it, he asked me how I got to know she is at shop and went without even telling him and I explained everything from the beginning to the end to him and he smiled and hugged him...

**He said a lot of things that day, he complimented me, prayed for me but the greatest compliment was when he told me that in the future whenever I need a place to work for a while or long time that he will always employ me as long as his organization is thriving well and alive and all I need to do is to just call him**..

This was the greatest compliment I got, imagine having a secured job for the future, it brought me joy and I went on my knees to thank him and he said I should see him before I go out for collection that day...

In conclusion, I now have a secured Job offer from my ex boss thanks to the way I handled his business like I would do mine and that came with a  reward and now that I no LONGER work there but the offer is still open and valid to me for as long as I am ready..

I received the greatest compliment from my boss and that too with a job I never dreamt of doing, even with my fears coming to pass I still made sure I did my best and my best was crowned with a **SECURED JOB IN MICRO FINANCE COMPANY**...


**NB : ajebutter means newbie or softie and ajepako means experienced and toughly cooked or trained**...

Hmmmm. Fox the ajepako loan collector. I don’t know much about loan collectors (in fact, I have never seen one), but when I hear the name, I picture violence and all. 

Well, I’d say you did well and it is nice that your boss saw your efforts and complimented you.

Challenges would make one take a job they wouldn't want to do on a normal day but do we have a choice since we want to survive.
