Ever since I first learned about the nature of cryptocurrency about 5 years ago I was intrigued and excited.

I have been one who questions everything and lives outside the box not following the rules or the status quo. So naturally blockchain and crypto appealed to me.

I have been living a life way outside the box for almost 2 decades now. I personally don't like 99% of government or rules/regulations. So my obvious personal preference would be to not regulate anything including cryptos. 

Allow individuals to succeed or fail based on their own education and decisions. Yes that gives some power to scammers but it also gives power to intelligent, critical thinking people to innovate, invent and progress at a rapid pace unhindered by the endless red tape and taxation.

Im writing this article now because every day I read various articles to keep current on the happenings of the world especially crypto related news. 

I came upon [[an article talking about 3 bills](https://www.ccn.com/u-s-lawmaker-introduces-3-pro-cryptocurrency-bills-to-congress/)](url) being introduced to congress regarding regulation of crypto. 

Now the truth is that crypto is going to be regulated regardless of if I or anyone wants it or not. Because of the nature of the blockchain this does not necessarily mean we have to follow those regulations, but its going to happen and is already happening. 

IMO despite that I am against government, regulation and rules I do feel that all in all its better to get regulation sooner than later so that development can have clear parameters to work with. 

The truth is the vast majority of people will not get involved especially big business without it being "legal" or "approved" and at the same time the tech masters or hackers won't be affected anyways. So might as well get some regulation and even if it creates hoops to jump through at least there can be a legal way to best navigate those hoops. 

If we want "mass adoption" of crypto either governments have to disappear or clear regulation needs to take place.

In all honesty as far as government bills go these really aren't so bad anyways.
