> On Friday morning I met a lovely old man. Full Australian farmer nearing eighty. Has never used a computer in his life, had two 170 page notebooks filled back-to-back with a handwritten novel and needed someone to type it up, edit it, and print it out for him.

This post is an awesome example of how sometimes we get a change to do something really special. At least if felt like it to me after reading it! Things like that do not happen often.

[Splinterlands Art Contest - Stonesplitter Orc Vs Pixie Ice](https://steemit.com/hive-174578/@yanes94/splinterlands-art-contest-stonesplitter-orc-vs-pixie-ice)

> For this I focused on one of my favorite card, it's about - Stonesplitter Orc -, I really like this card and almost every time I play with the "Earth Splinter" I choose him, the other card I made to complement the scene that I wanted to recreate is - Pixie Ice - that, although I don't have it, I saw it as a good idea to do it and thus work my idea with these two cards.

We just don't have enough of Splinterlands! This is a stunning image of two very cool cards! All the best in the contest. For us it is a winner for sure!

> This is one of my favorite dogs, I am a great animal lover, but I could not in my lifestyle have a dog so athletic and full of energy.
I made this drawing in watercolor.

This is a very beautifully painted dog in one of my favourite techniques too.

Although I am not the biggest fan of beta but I guess the sooner we hop on board the better. For now there are not many perks that come with using our hive but there sure will be once more testing is done and we finally move out of the beta phase.
