Hoy quiero contarles un poco más sobre mi vida, mostrándoles dos de las actividades que más me gusta hacer: El senderismo y Canyoning. Tengo poco más de un año practicando ambos, y es algo que me encanta porque van muy de la mano con mi personalidad y estilo de vida; ya que soy un amante de la naturaleza y la aventura.

Today I want to tell you a little more about my life, showing you two of the activities that I like to do the most: Hiking and Canyoning. I have been practicing both for just over a year, and it is something that I love because they go hand in hand with my personality and lifestyle; since I am a lover of nature and adventure.

Estas fotos fueron tomadas en La Cumaca, una localidad del Municipio San Diego ubicado en el Estado Carabobo, en la Ciudad Valencia- Venezuela; lugar donde crecí y vivo actualmente. Soy parte de dos grandes comunidades (grupos) ambos muy importante para mí: Valencia Hike y Picos y Montañas; aprovecho esta oportunidad para invitarlos a unirse a ellos si les encanta el montañismo y hacer Rapel.

El Canyoning para los que no saben, es un deporte extremo, donde se está en contacto al 100% con la naturaleza, y lleno de adrenalina pura; consiste en descender barrancos desembocando en ríos principalmente. Este es un deporte que practica en zonas montañosas; y quien los realiza debe tener habilidades para escalar. Afortunadamente, la zona donde vivo es un valle, ideal para este tipo de deportes.

Canyoning for those who do not know, is an extreme sport, where you are in 100% contact with nature, and full of pure adrenaline; It consists of descending ravines flowing into rivers mainly. This is a sport that is practiced in mountainous areas; and whoever performs them must have climbing skills. Fortunately, the area where I live is a valley, ideal for this type of sports.

Una de las cosas a la que estas expuesto al practicar este tipo de deportes al aire libre, es a encontrarte a "amigos" como el que muestro en la foto; siempre hay que tener mucho cuidado y guardarle respeto a la naturaleza, invadiendo lo menos posible su espacio. No estoy del todo seguro, pero creo que en esa oportunidad no topamos con una Cascabel.

One of the things you are exposed to when practicing this type of outdoor sports, is to meet "friends" like the one I show in the photo; You always have to be very careful and respect nature, invading its space as little as possible. I'm not entirely sure, but I think that on that occasion we did not run into a Rattlesnake.
