<b>What do you need to let go of?</b>, I have asked myself this question many times over a long period of time, and some answers have been superseded, others are still valid.

<b>¿Qué necesitas dejar ir?</b>, esta pregunta me la he formulado muchas veces durante bastante tiempo, y algunas respuestas han sido superadas otras siguen vigentes.

What I need to <b>let go of or "let off "</b> most easily is the acceptance of the physical loss of loved ones, mainly people and pets.
</div>

Lo que necesito <b>dejar ir o “soltar”</b> con mayor facilidad es la aceptación de la pérdida física de los seres queridos, personas y mascotas principalmente.

Rationally I understand that every living thing has a life cycle, birth, growth, reproduction and death, once born sooner or later the physical end comes.

Racionalmente comprendo que todo ser vivo tiene un ciclo vida, nacimiento, crecimiento, reproducción y muerte,  una vez que se nace tarde o temprano el final físico llega.

However, there was a difference between what is logically reasoned and what is felt, and since I was a child I have been very attached to my loved ones.

In this sense, the event with the greatest impact was the death of my mother QEPD, two years ago, due to longevity, who lived with me and took care of me until the last days of her life.

It was devastating and also contradictory. I was grateful that mum enjoyed the care and love of her family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and had a peaceful and quiet end. However the grief and sadness spread and the mourning turned into depression.

Initially prayer, silence and contact with nature were very helpful, then conscious breathing. Then reading, writing, photographing nature, positive affirmations, and more recently meditation.
