This hypothetical is a worst case scenario poem to be honest, and I'm not 100% sure that what is happening with Tron is the hostile take over I describe in these verses. But, it is a scenario that could easily play out! It all comes down to one mans intention and my worry is that the proverbial rug could literally be pulled out from under us in the next few weeks with a last minute announcement. Justin sun, along with Ned, have already proven that they are willing to drop 'bombshell' anouncments. If one comes out of the blue, my guess is that there will be a statement to the effect that steem is being de-listed from exchanges in favor of a steem token on the Tron blockchain. The only way to stop this happening, if it is what is happening, is to fork out stincs stake now! But this comes with it's own set of problems as I learned listening to the chat in the witness forum on Saturday. Also, if the witnesses did fork out Ned's ninja mined stake, there is no guarantee that the exchanges might not list a Tron version of steem as the original anyway. I personally am unsure about what the best course of action is, but it makes me extremely angry that the possibility of a hostile take over of a supposedly decentralized platform is even possible. The cards are firmly in Justin sun's hands! I guess I always knew that steem wasn't truly decentralized due to the discrepancies in stake, and the fact that a handful of steemians ninja mined vast amounts of steem prior to the blockchain launching. But I never envisioned that one of the original pioneers of this blockchain would sell it 'potentially' down the river. I'm not trying to spread FUD here... I truly hope that Justin Sun embraces the features that steem offers. Features like fee-less transactions, proof of brain and much cheaper operational costs for running (witnesses) nodes, that are all way beyond the capabilities of the Tron blockchain. With a mutual sharing of resources and ideas, Tron and Steem could forge a path towards domination in the cryptocurrency space. Unfortunately, I think he's after one thing... our user-base, and is unlikely to want to support another blockchain if he thinks he can migrate us all over to a version of steem running on Tron. It is up to us to make sure that we dig in and don't let that happen. It is our choice! I believe that Justin as every businessman wants to make money so my guess is that he will try to not upset us (at least for the time being) with more bomb tweets about token swaps etc. If both he and our community play our cards right, things will explode in a good way. I think he wants the steem community on Tron because it is so active. Im tired of talking about this issue. I dont think we can be too curious. We are at his mercy to a certain degree. What we can do is lobby and show him and his new team at steem why it is in his best interest for steem to remain the same for now until the interest of both steem and tron aligns
