I love phrases, reflections. That's why today I want to share with you one of my thousands of favorite quotes.

I love this phrase, it is in several images on the internet like the one I just posted above. I really don't know who the original author is, but I'm glad it exists.

This sentence impacts me so much since I saw it, because I can relate to it so much. It's even so funny.

Well, I'm definitely the onion. Yes, the onion... No matter how much they cut me, hurt me, or want to harm me, I always have one protective layer underneath another.

My thing is, give time to time. On the other hand, I like to be myself and improve myself more and more, no matter what others do.

If someone tries to hurt me, I end up being the least hurt.

In life there are people like the *knife*, they cut you, they hurt you, they sting you in a thousand little pieces; but in the end, they end up being themselves the most affected.

Then there are the *onion* people, those who layer upon layer appear stronger, but actually look that way, because of all they've been through and learned in life.

Their humility and fortitude make them so strong and immune to those *knife* people.  The *onion* people, are those who, even if you try to harm them a thousand times more, will continue to shine, being useful, authentic, and with a sense of humor full of logic in the face of any adversity.

To *knife* people, it always happens to them as a **saying** that I like to say a lot: *"evil always comes out "*; that happens to any person who wants to harm another, whether out of envy, jealousy, haughtiness, etc.

When they want to harm, when they move with the intention of harming or hurting someone else, that evil sooner or later comes out; harming only them.

>En la vida existen personas como el *cuchillo*, te cortan, te lastiman, te pican en mil pedacitos; pero a la final, terminan siendo ellos mismos los más afectados.

In any situation, we should not try to cause harm to anyone, because that harm will affect us more than any other person.

He who goes about doing evil, taking revenge by his own hand... He should not cry afterwards, nor complain about his "according to" bad luck, nor blame others for his misfortunes.

First of all, let us forgive, love, forget and remove from us all resentment of evil, of liveliness to harm others to benefit ourselves. For everything has its *cause and effect*.

**When has cutting others brought good results?**

But **do you know what does bring good results**?
- Be kind
- Not to lose our essence because of bad people
- Always smile
- Give time to time

Do not spend energy on proving yourselves right, be yourselves even if the world says otherwise.

People *knife* don't know or understand why they cry when they cut people *onions*, as they are so focused on cutting every part of you, than on the consequences of cutting an onion.
