New Game for Farcade's Mystery Game Jam + Stats from my previous game!

Being really busy this week. I broke my streak of posting every 2/3 days but its okay, will try to make some post this weekend!

This week i participated in another Game Jam on the Farcade ecosystem! This one was call **"The Mystery Game Jam"**

The rules were really simple, just add this icon/logo they provided you and thats it!

Thats why i use the logo in these different colors and also created these arcade machine as the art for my game.

I decided to use a simple retro arcade style.

Also came up with this logo and this art for the instructions

So for this Jam i decided to test an idea i have in mind a long time ago. Its a simple idea but to me it could work for a mobile game.

The idea is quite simple, you have an X number of Buckets(in this case Arcade Machines) that you can drag and drop and they have gravity and collision so they will fall and they can be stack above each other. The objective of the game is that you pick the falling objects with the correct Machine.

I minimize the scope of the idea tho because i didn't have a lot of time to do it so i stick only with the core mechanic of the game to see if is was fun but i have more in mind like objects that change his color over a period of time, lifes, blockers, etc.

The game is not Live yet. I send it for revision but i forgot to put mobile input support so they send it back. 

I already send it again so in the meantime you can try my other game i made for the previous Farcade Game Jam **Cat Kings Defender**

It is a plants vs Zombie like Game where you have to defend this cure Cat King!

Estuve muy ocupado esta semana. Rompí mi racha de publicar un post cada 2/3 días, pero está bien, ¡voy a intentar hacer algunos posts este fin de semana!

¡Esta semana participé en otra Game Jam en el ecosistema de Farcade! ¡Esta se llamó **"The Mystery Game Jam"**!

Las reglas eran muy simples, solo había que agregar este ícono/logo que te proporcionaban ¡y listo!

Por eso usé el logo en estos diferentes colores y también creé estas máquinas arcade como el arte de mi juego.

Decidí usar un estilo arcade retro simple.

También hice este logo y este arte para las instrucciones.

Para esta Jam decidí probar una idea que tengo en mente desde hace mucho tiempo. Es una idea simple pero para mí podría funcionar como juego para móviles.

La idea es bastante simple, tenés un número X de Baldes (en este caso Máquinas Arcade) que podés arrastrar y soltar, y tienen gravedad y colisión así que caen y se pueden apilar una sobre otra. El objetivo del juego es que agarres los objetos que caen con la Máquina correcta.

¡Aquí un pequeño gameplay para que se entienda mejor!

Reducí el alcance de la idea porque no tenía mucho tiempo para hacerla, así que me quedé solo con la mecánica principal para ver si era divertida, pero tengo más ideas como objetos que cambien de color con el tiempo, vidas, obstáculos, etc.

El juego todavía no está en línea. Lo mandé para revisión pero me olvidé de poner soporte para controles móviles así que me lo devolvieron.

Ya lo volví a enviar, así que mientras tanto podés probar mi otro juego que hice para la Game Jam anterior de Farcade: **Cat Kings Defender**

Es un juego estilo Plants vs Zombies donde tenés que defender a este tierno Rey Gato.

dude this is awesome rama!
thats cool people are playing your cat king game too. 
i have been too busy working on the skatehive website i decided to pass on this jam. but i know they said they have $5000 to give out. hopefully the disperse the money better. i felt like some really bad games got more credit than they deserved on the last jame. this post you made inspird me! i will participate in the next one
