Today I will share with you an infusion I made because in the last few days, with the drastic change of temperature that occurs in Cumaná every day, I have been suffering from a flu-like malaise, so I considered drinking a hot tea as something necessary. In this case, I opted for chamomile since it helps to reduce the inflammation of the throat and respiratory tract. This plant has many benefits and since I discovered it, it has become a perfect ally for me because it even helps me calm anxiety.

A chamomile tea is also an excellent option for the night, since it helps us to fall asleep. Opting for the natural is the best way to avoid chemical addictions, so we should take advantage of the properties of plants, trees, roots and fruits. 

To this tea I added two more ingredients; ginger and lemon. Ginger is a great expectorant, so it was ideal for relieving my cough and eliminating bronchial mucus. The lemon provided me with an excellent dose of vitamin C, as well as an extraordinary flavor. I am going to specify the ingredients and the procedure.

## Ingredients:

- 50 grams of chamomile
- 1 ginger root
- 1 lemon
- 2 glasses of water (350 ML)

## Procedure:


Having the ingredients at hand, I cut the ginger into pieces, put the water in a small pot and added the chamomile and ginger.


I put this preparation on the fire and let it boil.

I cut the lemon in two parts. 

Then, I removed the liquid from the fire and waited 5 minutes. 


I placed the strainer and poured the liquid into another container. 


I squeezed the lemon, which did not have seeds because it was grafted.

This way my infusion was ready, I made it with a slightly acidic flavor to combat my throat discomfort. You can also add a little honey to sweeten, but in this case, I preferred it this way. Drinking this hot tea did me a lot of good as within a few minutes I felt a great improvement in terms of my breathing.

Hoy compartiré con ustedes una infusión que hice porque en estos últimos días, con el drástico cambio de temperatura que se presenta en Cumaná a diario, he padecido un malestar gripal, así que consideré beber un té caliente como algo necesario. En este caso, opté por la manzanilla puesto que ayuda a reducir la inflamación de la garganta y de las vías respiratorias. Esta planta posee muchos beneficios y desde que la descubrí se ha convertido en una aliada perfecta para mí porque incluso me ayuda a calmar la ansiedad.

Un té de manzanilla también es una excelente opción para la noche, dado que nos ayuda a conciliar un sueño reparador. Optar por lo natural es lo mejor par evitar adicciones químicas, así que debemos aprovechar las propiedades de las plantas, árboles, raíces y frutos. 


A este té le agregué dos ingredientes más; jengibre y limón. El jengibre es un gran expectorante, así que fue ideal para aliviar mi tos y eliminar la mucosidad bronquial. Por su parte, el limón me aportó una excelente dosis de vitamina C, además de un sabor extraordinario. Les voy a especificar los ingredientes y el procedimiento.

## Ingredientes:

- 1 raíz de jengibre
- 1 limón
- 2 vasos de agua (350 ML)

## Procedimiento:


Al tener los ingredientes a la mano, corté el jengibre en pedazos, coloqué el agua en una olla pequeña y agregué la manzanilla y el jengibre.


Coloqué esta preparación al fuego y lo dejé hervir.

Corté el limón en dos partes. 

Posteriormente, retiré el líquido del fuego y esperé 5 minutos. 


Coloqué el colador y vertí el líquido sobre otro recipiente. 

Exprimí el limón, el cual no trajo semillas porque era de injerto.

De esta manera quedó lista mi infusión, la hice con un sabor ligeramente ácido para combatir mi malestar de garganta. También se puede agregar un poco de miel para endulzar, pero en este caso, la preferí así. Beber este té caliente me hizo muy bien ya que a los pocos minutos sentí una gran mejoría en lo que respecta a mi respiración.
