El pasado sábado asistí al Auditorio Episcopal de Cumaná para una actividad enfocada en educación Web3, patrocinada por Solana All Stars. En esta oportunidad, el tema principal fue: Ethereum, Bitcoin y Solana, cada una representando una capa 1 (L1), esencial en el ecosistema cripto, el cual es bastante amplio y considero que es vital involucrarse para estar bien informados. 

> Last Saturday I attended the Episcopal Auditorium in Cumaná for an activity focused on Web3 education, sponsored by Solana All Stars. In this opportunity, the main topic was: Ethereum, Bitcoin and Solana, each one representing a layer 1 (L1), essential in the crypto ecosystem, which is quite broad and I consider it is vital to get involved to be well informed.

El evento estuvo a cargo de Maikol Castellano, un entusiasta colaborador que sirvió de ponente. A través de diversas diapositivas pudimos apreciar algunos puntos de interés sobre estas plataformas, comparándolas y resaltando los beneficios de cada una. Evidentemente, el mundo criptográfico ha cambiado la forma en que concebimos la economía y las transacciones financieras.

Through various slides we were able to appreciate some points of interest about these platforms, comparing them and highlighting the benefits of each one. Evidently, the crypto world has changed the way we conceive the economy and financial transactions.

El avance acelerado de la tecnología nos impulsa a estar a la vanguardia, de allí la importancia de expandir el horizonte, explorar, conocer sobre Web3 y la criptoesfera. En las redes sociales abunda información, por tanto, se hace necesario conocer estas herramientas pues representan la manera cómo interactuamos con las transacciones económicas, la propiedad digital y la descentralización. 

> The accelerated advance of technology drives us to be at the forefront, hence the importance of expanding the horizon, exploring, learning about Web3 and the cryptosphere. Social networks abound with information, therefore, it is necessary to know these tools because they represent the way we interact with economic transactions, digital property and decentralization.

En el evento nos hablaron sobre la aplicación Moonwalk Fitness, la cual combina la actividad física con el universo Web3 al dar recompensas en criptomonedas por caminar un número determinado de pasos durante el día. Esto suena realmente interesante, habría que investigar más a fondo para ver cómo funciona. Ahora mismo, estoy indagando sobre Actifit, la cual funciona dentro de la plataforma Hive, es innovador este concepto para volver a consolidar hábitos saludables y, a la vez, recibir una remuneración por el esfuerzo. 

> At the event they told us about the Moonwalk Fitness app, which combines physical activity with the Web3 universe by giving cryptocurrency rewards for walking a set number of steps during the day. This sounds really interesting, more research would have to be done to see how it works. Right now, I am looking into Actifit, which works within the Hive platform, it is innovative this concept to re-consolidate healthy habits and, at the same time, receive remuneration for the effort.

En cuanto a Solana, por lo que pude entender, posee un enfoque netamente educativo, además, los desarrolladores pueden crear diversas aplicaciones dentro de ella. Poco a poco he ido investigando para saber más sobre los temas que arropan al mundo blockchain, también para estar empapada de las noticias del mundo cripto, pues al hacer vida en Hive reconozco que es prioritario enterarse de lo que sucede en estos ámbitos.

> As for Solana, as far as I could understand, it has a purely educational approach, in addition, developers can create various applications within it. Little by little I have been researching to learn more about the issues that surround the blockchain world, also to be steeped in the news of the crypto world, because living in Hive I recognize that it is a priority to learn about what happens in these areas.
