Many people say that I am always busy and from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep, I am always busy. Some work or the other keeps happening, and being busy does not necessarily mean that those who are busy are doing useful work. It also does not mean that if you do work throughout the day, you will consistently achieve real results. This is the biggest problem.  To date, people forget the big difference between being busy and being productive. Because if you are doing something productive, then something else is required for it and for being busy, you can do anything. You can join any meeting. You can reply to anyone, so there is a lot of difference between being busy and being productive.

A busy person is always doing some work or the other. Like receiving a call, replying, attending a message, attending meetings, and his biggest problem is that he starts doing two to three tasks at a time, and it is not that he is not working hard; he is also working very hard. But if you are always busy and do 100 tasks, then you will never be able to achieve anything. 

There is a particularly productive person. He must be doing three to four tasks at a time. All day long. But he must be doing three to four tasks that are useful and help him. Help him achieve his goal. Productive people don't work hard; They always work smart.




The biggest difference is how people manage their time and save their energy. A busy person's time management will always be very bad. They will not be able to do even one task properly, and half of their enthusiasm will be gone the day after. He will always manage his time and he will do only one task at a time, but will do it in a very productive and efficient way, so that he can do only one task, but it will be done perfectly, and a busy person will waste his energy in useless things like something which is not important to him and where his work is not there and he wastes energy even on tasks that are not his responsibility. 

A productive person saves his energy for tasks that truly matter and focuses on his responsibilities. He will do that work and will be able to use his energy efficiently. This is the biggest difference between being busy and productivity.

Nowadays, in the digital world, everyone says that multitasking is the best way to complete your work. Still, I want to say that multitasking was the most useless thing because if you are doing three tasks at a time, then all your work will remain incomplete, and if you are doing only one task at a time, then it will give you more benefit. 

Don’t try to do 100 things at once. Doing one task at a time is the most effective approach. Even earlier, people followed this method. They used to do only one task at a time, so they became productive. The biggest advantage of being productive is that you have clarity about when, where and what work you have to do at a particular time, so this is the best way. 




And the most important thing is, if you are busy all the time, then your mind needs rest sometime it also needs to rest for a while. But if you keep working all day, then your mind will not be able to take the test, and you will feel tired. You will feel irritated. You will have anxiety. You will not be able to work properly in one place.

This is how problems arise. If you start doing a lot of work and if you are productive, then you will restore your mind at the right time and work at the right time, so being always busy is also not a good thing. Sometimes you should be productive, and sometimes you should also be free. Because your mind also needs peace, and it also needs some time to be free.

Productive people are always clear about their goal, they know what they want to achieve in their life, and they do that thing very slowly, step by step, and they reach their destination quickly because if you take small steps. But if you do every work very well, then you will have clarity that yes, I did this work at this time and, I did this work like this, so you will know what you have to do and what you don't have to do. You will be able to understand your weaknesses and strengths when you take small steps.



So whenever you are doing any work, do it smartly because if you do it smartly, your time will also be saved. Your energy will be saved, and your productivity will also increase, showing the work you have done. So whenever you do any work, focus on that one task. Do not do this. You are doing four tasks at once, or you are working at the same time. 

You’re replying to an email, and at the same time chatting with three people—that kind of multitasking causes distractions. So whenever you work, do one task but do only one task at a time. Silence your phone and put everything on Do Not Disturb, and it will help you. Your distraction will be done, and your disturbance will also be stopped. So always do only one task.
