<center></center> In my favorite forest, which I have visited most often for many years, in addition to a large number of birds and rodents with lizards, stray dogs still live. <center></center> And they live here .. umm always. I arrived in the city where I now live in 1997, since then I have been visiting this forest. And ever since that time, I constantly meet forest dogs here. <center></center> And these dogs never looked thin and hungry! I have no idea what they eat in the forest. <center></center> Previously, in the late 90s and maybe even earlier, they were very aggressive and always attacked people, defended their territory. I remember how my friend and I had to lean back from them with firecrackers. But now these dogs themselves are afraid of people and avoid them. <center></center> <center>https://i.postimg.cc/1R7vs1hS/20-01-2023-120950.jpg</center> With regards to nutrition. I noticed that some dogs come up to the trees and look up. Probably they are looking out for chipmunks or squirrels, I don’t know what it is connected with. With great difficulty I found this old photo from 2009. This friend in the photo was just noticed by me doing this activity. <center></center> <center></center> <center></center> Dogs mostly move in a pack, or 2-3. This dog in the photo is apparently their leader, he sat looking at me while the others wandered around. <center></center> They live in the forest all year round. This funny dog was trying to resist the strong wind. <center></center> But not only dogs live in the forests. Here is an example of a cat. But from where? There are no residential buildings nearby. He walked quietly along the path. <center></center> This friend thought I couldn't see him. Птички изменили облик 😂 у меня за огородом в лесу 3 года жила парочка - кобель и сучка. У них бывали щенки. В прошлом году мой зять пошел в лес и чуть с ума не сошел. Он несколько дней был под впечатлением... Он говорит - они там все лежат, все 4 щенка, друг за дружкой... Кто-то их отравил. Жалко щенков, конечно... К осени куда-то делась сучка... Кобель теперь ходит один. Не знаю. они были безобидными, они просто оберегали "мой лес" от посторонних.

М-да...печально. У нас в 90х в этом лесу , мы с другом находили отрубленную собачью голову. Видимо достали кого-то. Пару лет назад шёл в лес и увидел половину щенка. А когда шёл обратно. Уже ничего не было, кто-то утащил.

Sad how many stray cats and dogs populate areas, people abandon the animals then have to try make life on their own. Lovely photography of them in the woods close to where you live.

I kind of feel lonely for them. I'm not quite certain as to why but I guess they should live in peace around the forest with their kind than being abandoned by people. Bless their lives! The photos are amazing.
