A small flock of these sandpipers was discovered by me near the lake, which is located on the other side of the shore from a large river. Every mid-autumn I see these birds, here they have a migration route.

Apparently, it was a family flock, there were four birds.
They walked in shallow water and muddy bottom, in search of aquatic insects and mollusks.
