In the spring, when there is no more snow and the weather is warm, insects begin to wake up. And at this time tree pipit arrive. They are often seen, though not simply, roaming the land in search of food.

But this species of pipit is extremely rare in our forest. This friend on the top of the hill walked cheerfully on the ground among the flowers that had just begun to grow.
It looks like a tree pipit, but the color of the plumage is darker, contrasting, and it has very bright legs.
And by the way, encyclopedias indicate that this species does not live in my region at all.
