Greetings to all. When I found out that this community is being activated and renewed I decided to make an initial post with an idea that the same [<sub>post</sub>](https://peakd.com/hive-128240/@ilazramusic/ygmkklmp) of @ilazramusic gave me and it is about my interest regarding this immense geek world, no, universe. I think that in this way, beyond an introduction with name and surname, we can get to know each other from our tastes and between all of us expand more.

First I will mention from where my origins were and it is in anime, since I was 3 years old I watch anime and my start was Saint Seiya, even at that age where many things I did not understand, that series gave me emotion, joy, got me fully interested in topics such as astrology and expanded my imagination since I was a kid who loved to draw and play. Then it was Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, the classic of all the 90's generation, then was Sailor Moon, Slayers, Pokémon, Digimon, Evangelion, Saber Marionette J, Sakura Card Captor and many others of my childhood to then grow up and with the advent of the Internet have access to more series like Death Note, dot.hack//Roots, CLANNAD, Akuma no Riddle, etc and nowadays I continue watching anime, maybe not with the same rhythm as before but always and as a routine of each quarter, I watch the first chapter of each new anime series that comes out to give it my good or bad approval and thus decide whether to follow it.

Primero mencionaré desde donde fueron mis orígenes y es en el anime, desde que tenía 3 años veo anime y mi inicio fue Saint Seiya, aun a esa edad donde muchas cosas no las entendía, esa serie me daba emoción, alegría, me metió de lleno a interesarme por temas como la astrología y expandió mi imaginación ya que yo era un niño que amaba dibujar y jugar. Luego fue Dragon Ball y Dragon Ball Z, el clásico de todos los de la generación de los 90, Sailor Moon, Slayers, Pokémon, Digimon, Evangelion, Saber Marionette J, Sakura Card Captor y muchos otros de mi infancia para luego crecer y con la llegada del Internet tener acceso a más series como Death Note, dot.hack//Roots, CLANNAD, Akuma no Riddle, etc y actualmente sigo viendo anime, quizás no con el mismo ritmo que antes pero siempre y como rutina de cada trimestre, veo el primer capítulo de cada serie de anime nueva que sale para darle mi visto bueno o malo y así decidir si seguirla.

Regarding the manga, I entered to that world much later, more or less when I was 15 years old and it was because of the Ouran Highschool Host Club anime, once the anime was finished I saw a video on YouTube (a MMV) where they showed scenes from a chapter of the manga, of something that would happen much later from where the anime ended and of course with such a spoiler and that also involved my favorite character I said to myself "I NEED MORE INFORMATION" so I started to read it to understand what happened, I got a taste for manga and then I started to read Bleach, Pandora Hearts, Kuroshitsuji and from then on I have been reading many more depending on if I liked an anime too much and I want to continue it. I still don't have any physical manga but soon I will start a collection.

Con respecto al manga, en ese mundo entré mucho más tarde, más o menos cuando tenía 15 años y fue debido al anime de Ouran Highschool Host Club, una vez terminado el anime vi un video en YouTube (un MMV) donde mostraban escenas de un capítulo del manga, de algo que ocurriría mucho más adelante de donde quedó el anime y claro ante semejante spoiler y que además involucraba a mi personaje favorito me dije “NECESITO MAS INFORMACIÓN” así que empecé a leerlo para entender que ocurrió, le agarre gusto a los mangas y entonces empecé a leer Bleach, Pandora Hearts, Kuroshitsuji y de ahí en adelante he estado leyendo muchos más dependiendo de si un anime me gustó demasiado y quiero seguirlo. Aun no tengo mangas en físico pero pronto iniciaré una colección.

I watch both Shonen, Shojo and Seinen, and among the subgenres I like Psychological, fantasy, mystery, slice of life, comedy, isekai, romance, shonen ai, shojo ai and josei. I get hooked with a series is mainly because of the story but sometimes the graphic part influences and makes it hard for me to watch and appreciate it.

As a good anime consumer it is obvious that I also listen to JPop and JRock music as well as the soundtracks of some series and games. Since I was very young I have liked Japanese music and back then that the use of the Internet was not so accessible to everyone and when I had it I didn't know how to download, I used to record songs directly from the TV when an Opening and Ending started, then when I knew the wonders of Ares (or misfortunes if you count viruses) I downloaded all those songs I have always wanted. To this day, I still download the Opening, Ending and OST of the series and games I like (of course, now with more comfort) and there are some that despite the years I still like a lot and have a great value for me and are among my playlist so when I play everything in general can come out a song of Sufjan Stevens or La Oreja de Van Gogh and then the opening of Vanitas no Carte or the OST of dot.hack//SIGN.

Como buen consumidor de anime es obvio que también escucho música JPop y JRock así como también escucho los Soundtracks de algunas series y juegos. Desde muy pequeño me ha gustado la música japonesa y en aquel entonces que el uso del Internet no era tan accesible para todos y cuando lo tenía no sabía cómo descargar, yo solía grabar canciones directamente del televisor cuando empezaba un Opening y Ending, luego cuando conocí las maravillas de Ares (o desgracias si se cuentan los virus) bajé todas esas canciones que siempre he querido. Hasta la fecha, sigo descargando los Opening, Ending y OST de las series y juegos que me gustan (por supuesto, ahora con más comodidad) y hay algunos que a  pesar de los años siguen gustándome mucho y tienen un gran valor para mí y están entre mis playlist por lo que cuando reproduzco todo en general puede salir una canción de Sufjan Stevens o de La Oreja de Van Gogh y luego el opening de Vanitas no Carte o del OST de dot.hack//SIGN.

This is an interesting point because on one hand I love video games but honestly I haven't played so many different titles to consider myself a gamer unless watching how others play via YouTube counts. My first game as a kid was Pokémon and it's still my favorite saga. For a while I was an active player in World of Warcraft and now it's only for short periods but honestly I really like that game and I've enjoyed adventuring in that universe even though the last few expansions have had terrible story development. I also went through a stage where I was addicted to The Sims although sometimes I go into the game to kill time (or keep my Sims from dying). I like more Nintendo games like The Legend of Zelda saga and the consoles I have are from this one and I have played few games of the Play Station but some I like a lot especially the dot.hack and Tales of franchise are among my favorites and I have no affinity with Xbox. My current addiction is the smartphone game Fate/Grand Order and I also play Pokémon GO. I have a long list of "Must play" pending.

Este es un punto interesante porque  por un lado amo los videojuegos pero sinceramente no he jugado tantos títulos diferentes como para considerarme un gamer a menos que ver como otros juegan mediante YouTube cuente. Mi primer juego de niño fue Pokémon y sigue siendo mi saga favorita. Por un buen tiempo fui jugador activo en World of Warcraft y ahora es solo por cortos periodos pero sinceramente me gusta muchísimo ese juego y he disfrutado bastante el aventurarme en ese universo pese a que a las últimas expansiones han tenido un terrible desarrollo de historia. También pasé una etapa donde estaba adicto a The Sims aunque a veces entro al juego para matar el tiempo (o evitar que se mueran mis Sim). Me agradan más los juegos de Nintendo como la saga de The Legend of Zelda y las consolas que tengo son de esta y he jugado pocos del Play Station pero algunos me gustan mucho especialmente los de la franquicia dot.hack y Tales of están entre mis favoritos y no tengo ninguna afinidad con Xbox. Mi adicción actual es el juego para smartphones Fate/Grand Order y también juego Pokémon GO. Tengo una larga lista de “Must play” pendiente.

My favorite type of games are adventure, mystery, fantasy, those that have a deep story. I don't like shooters or sports games.

The closest I've been to this topic is with Yu-Gi-Oh!, which I haven't played physically for many years but I still have all the cards I bought, it's a game I was obsessed with many years ago. Even nowadays I am still up to date on how the game is going by seeing the sets and archetypes that are coming out as well as the new mechanics, I have also come to buy when I can individual cards just to have them as a collection. I have continued to play through video games with the Nintendo DS and the Duel Links application (before I lost count).

Lo más cerca que he estado de este tema es con Yu-Gi-Oh!, el cual llevo muchos años que no juego de manera física pero aún conservo todas las cartas que llegué a comprar, es un juego que hace muchos años me tenía obsesionado. Aun en estos tiempos sigo estando al día de cómo va el juego al ver los sets y archetypes que van saliendo así como las nuevas mecánicas, también he llegado a comprar cuando puedo cartas individuales solo para tenerlas de colección. He seguido jugando mediante videojuegos con el Nintendo DS y en la aplicación Duel Links (antes de perder la cuenta).

I have also wanted to play the Pokémon TCG but it was never popular in Venezuela so it was not possible for me to play it.
I am also open to the idea of learning more card or board games, maybe a new obsession will arise.

I have been to many anime conventions that have taken place in my city over the years, they are excellent opportunities to have a good time with friends, meet new people and get things that one only saw in imagination. Unfortunately I have never done cosplay even though there are many characters that I would like to represent and "live". As for roleplay I would like to do it sometime, I know it would be fun, the closest I've been to it is playing in a roleplay server in World of Warcraft.

He ido a muchas convenciones de anime que han tenido lugar en mi ciudad a lo largo de los años, son excelentes oportunidades para pasarla bien entre amigos, conocer gente nueva y poder conseguir cosas que uno solo veía en imaginación. Pokémon mainly, it's practically one of my features. Fate is also one of my favorites and main obsessions, even though dot.hack hasn't released new games or stories in different formats anymore, it's still one of my favorite franchises and has a very valuable place in my life. The Legend of Zelda always makes me fall in love with it even though I didn't like the DS games very much. Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh! are still very important to me even though I haven't played them anymore and their current anime doesn't appeal to me, and of course Evangelion, World of Warcraft and more are also among my favorites.

Practically all my life I have had these tastes with me and I could not be more happy about it, they have given me moments of joy, they have given me wonderful friends, I have grown as a person in various aspects such as my creativity, I still feel alive with many of the things I like and am passionate about and I know this is something that will always be part of me. This is a universe that is always expanding.
