Let's Ask Alexa

Hi everyone,

I wanted to make a small comparison how hive is doing compared to steem in terms of alexa ranking.
So I drew up something small.

Let's start checking out the main gateways of the two platforms:

Steem.com (Steem.io ranks significantly lower around 800k).

Where we can see a clear winner already. After the short time hive is existing, it already ranks higher in the international ranking and ranks twice as high in the US ranking.

Here we're still seeing a decent advantage of steemd.com. However, going from the strong increase this might be only a matter of time.

Here things get interesting, while hive was able to achieve an impressive rank of 108k in the short time, steemit is still ranked in the top 20k. However, in the country ranking, hive was able to surpass steem already for the american audience and ranks in the top 20k in the US already which is really impressive!



How about the alternative frontends:

peakd.com:

Peakd.com is showing really impressive stats, already at 150k worldwide and surpassing in the US even hive.blog.

steempeak.com

Steempeak also has a pretty decent ranking with 72k worldwide and 20.9k in the US (surpassing steemit.com). 
However, seeing the sharp decline it might be only a matter of time until peakd.com will surpass steempeak.

It will be interesting to see the charts when Hive has been out for 90 days and see a straight across the board 90 day comparison. For only being out for 30 days, not to bad of a growth cycle so far.

Yes, for this short time frame it's incredible already. I plan on doing those more regularly now to check that out.

hmmmm i'm very super disappointed.  

now i must give you a tip.  but thats good cuz my upvote was only 10 cents
