<div class="text-justify">Greetings again my dear friends I hope you are all very well, the diversity of thoughts, and thus of skills, are the order of the day for the human being, one of the big questions for any student before starting their foray into university level is that area of study to choose, those related to numbers or letters, and much has been written about this, and even many studies at the level of science have been devoted to such concern.
<p>

Many are the skills that we get as we develop in the educational field, from a very young age we feel that we are leaning towards certain preferences with some subjects more than others, and this can be noticed even at preschool level, reaching elementary school, accentuating in the basic level and high school, throughout our academic journey at the basic level, we can go clarifying our mind in relation to the choice for the future, ie, if we go with university careers related to the letter or science.

The above relationship seems to be the two sides of the same coin, of our intellectual development, throughout our history, despite choosing one side or the other, we will always see some content related to those subjects that do not attract our attention, or at least we feel that it is difficult to understand them, although our first purpose is to learn to read and write, this does not mean that the letters will take a step forward over the numbers, because at the same time, we are also learning to become algebraically or arithmetically literate.

These basic skills, reading, writing and learning to count, have currently become the fundamental pillars of the rise of education on a planetary level, and with it, the scientific-technological development that humanity currently exhibits, and when we speak of science, we relate to a fundamental tool for the acquisition of knowledge for mankind.

<h1>Are we predestined according to our brains to choose what to study?</h1>

This question has aroused great interest through time, leading to other questions such as, Is it possible that our brain activity can determine and help us choose whether we are good at letters, and just the opposite for science?

To respond to these very interesting concerns, we will analyze different approaches based on academic orientation, and some research in this regard, the truth is that the main objective is to try to help any student to choose the best decision when looking for a profession, beyond the preference of their parents, who almost always end up dominating or impacting the decisions of their daughters when starting their university studies.

The academic orientations should seek, in addition to knowing the interest of each student, to assess their capabilities that confront them with the type of intelligence in which they stand out the most, the psycho-technical tests that are performed to students in primary or secondary school, aim to clarify the picture to students, for example, they can identify in which field of knowledge they feel better, that is, where they stand out more, pointing out those skills that are more innate to the type of intelligence that they have developed so far.

However, beyond a possible polarization in relation to academic orientation, nowadays it is sought to accommodate or visualize those multifaceted profiles, this is because, if in any vocational orientation test a student stands out more in the world of science, it seems that they are made to discard any letter barrier or those dedicated to the wonderful world of arts.

In our mind we have ever thought about whether we are of letters or science, or our profile is multifaceted, great characters of humanity have stood out with their multifaceted profile, including Albert Einstein, one of the most brilliant minds that has existed, and who revolutionized the world of physics, and was also a great violinist and a musical composer, this opens the compass of the question whether we are of letters or science.

<h1>Let's see what neuroscience has to say</h1>

According to this part of the branch of science, studies have shown that our brain has influence in the decision for the preference to study letters or science careers, for example, it makes us demonstrate whether we have greater ability with mathematics or letters, a study conducted by this scientific branch, confirms that those students dedicated to the study of science achieve greater concentration of gray matter, while its counterpart, that is, those who study letters careers have greater density of white matter.

Other studies have also concluded that, depending on the predisposition of each person, they are able to effectively activate certain brain areas more than others when solving mathematical problems, for example; according to these studies, the brain is compartmentalized into hemispheres, but the better the neurons of both hemispheres are connected, the better our ability to deal with any type of problem will be.

There are many examples that show us that although our brain shows orientation towards a certain field (science or letters), we have to take into account that practice leads us to be experts in any activity we develop, of course, depending on our type of developed intelligence, we will need fewer hours of practice than those who have not developed it to the same level. 

<h1>Conclusion</h1>

Our brain will always arouse all kinds of interest to different researchers at the level of science, especially neuroscientists, since our entire existence is fundamentally linked to its actions, and we know that there is still much mystery to be unraveled, in this case, our brain is an important factor to take into account when deciding what to study, although it is not the only one responsible since there are other variables mentioned above.

Much has been said about the influence of our brain when choosing what to study, however, we must always take into account that it is not smarter the one who stands out in science more than in letters or vice versa, in general, we can be multifaceted and excel in both, these areas are complementary to each other, as demonstrated by the great Albert Einstein who managed to perfectly combine the art of music with physics, and this is not the exception, with effort we can all do it.</div>
