<h1>Introduction</h1>

<div class="text-justify">Greetings again my dear readers, we continue with the wonderful description of the entire optical system that makes up an SLR camera, this with the purpose of continuing to deepen the various technological applications in these devices created by man, and thus fulfill a certain task, a feature that has been demonstrated in each of the previous articles, and also reaffirming again that technology is nothing more than applied science.

In the previous articles we pointed out to the convergent and divergent lenses, then to the plane mirror, and those elements fulfilling essential functions of refraction and reflection of the light rays when impacting in the pointed out particular optical elements (lenses and mirror), nevertheless, the luminous rays when being refracted by the objective lens go when reflecting in the plane mirror, but there the task with the treatment of the light does not finish.

On this occasion we will know another essential optical element within this complex instrument as it is the pentaprism, and the same as we observe is part of the viewfinder of reflex cameras, and we are more than a five-sided glass that helps to treat the light that transports a particular image to the viewfinder lens, and then be captured on a photosensitive film of that optical instrument, this action is known as photography, in a next installment we will analyze this part of this type of camera.

In this way with the lenses, flat mirror and pentaprism, we continue to deepen the knowledge linked to the entire optical system of the SLR camera, and thus achieve to highlight the vital importance of each of these elements and how they act in the treatment of light rays entering the interior of this type of camera.

<h1>Conclusion</h1>    

A splendid optical system has this type of reflex camera, where, we already analyzed the objective lens and its component lenses which can be convergent and divergent or combination of these, then there is a flat mirror at 45 ° tilt with the horizontal that reflects the beam of light coming from the objective lens, then pass these rays to a pentaprism which reflects these rays back to the viewfinder lens that sent to our eyes the final result of the treatment of light carrying the image we want to capture.

With the present article in its third delivery we continue valuing the positive impact that the technological applications have in our activities and with it in our lives, in a next delivery we will analyze the form as the image is captured in the photosensitive film of these reflex cameras once our eyes visualize the space-time to capture.
