NFT Minting Hoping For A Useful Utility

It’s no surprise that the crypto space is filled with a lot of opportunities and part of it is airdrop. One lesson I have learnt on this crypto space is that, the blockchain always makes sure it rewards you for active participation. This means that for as long as you are participating in activities on the blockchain you will definitely get rewarded one way or the other. The other day I got rewarded $12 worth of Arbitrum ETH for having an Arbitrum domain name. Felt nice though because it felt like having more than 70% refund of my money I used in minting the domain name.

Few days ago Coinbase announced its launch of a layer2 blockchain and created an NFT to celebrate it, over 100k Base NFTs were minted, utilities of the base NFT has not been announced yet, but in my experience I believed minting it was a great idea. Currently, minting of the NFT has ended so you have to buy the NFT from a secondary market like OpenSea. I have come to learn that most times its way better to have something and not need it than need it and not have it. Coinbase is one of the biggest crypto exchanges in the world and sure has a lot of influence, collaborated with a lot of projects, so creating their own layer 2 chain on the ethereum chain shows that they want to create more utilities to the crypto space. That is one NFT I minted last week and I am hoping for a better utility of the NFT.

The other NFT I just minted is the Mirror Genesis NFT, Mirror is a platform that looks like a blogging platform where you can blog, most crypto projects use the mirror platform to make significant announcements and to Make it more special add an NFT to the blog where people can mint to celebrate the announcement. That was what Coinbase did with the base NFT, but minting was done on Zora, which is another platform for minting No utility has been announced yet regarding the Mirror Genesis NFT, but I felt minting it might be useful in the future. 


I also minted a safe core mirror subscription NFT, I will be sincere, I was ignorant so I Degen into minting this NFT, I dont know its utility but I felt it will be useful and its on the ETHEREUM blockchain, all these NFTs I mentioned are on the Ethereum Blockchain, cost me a minimum of $8 to mint these NFTs because of gas fees, so wish me luck guys.
