Venom, a new blockchain platform that have had its testnet activities on for more than 12 months is finally about to launch its mainnet and perform its airdrop this month. Sometimes last year we talked about venom, we did some tasks they were up to 23. Lots of us loved the tasks because the tasks involved exploring the ecosystem and minting an NFT for exploring the ecosystem. The UI/UX of the platform was great, I honestly loved the platform and was hoping it would be great. Unfortunately late 2023 they announced a discontinuation of the ecosystem. This brought sad feeling to most of us we were bullish on the platform and hoping the platform will be one of the great crypto projects created.  Venom is not an EVM blockchain, it’s different, its own ecosystem, blockchain, and expected to have its own token which will be used for gas fees soon. After its shutdown announcement in December, we were surprised to see a tweet from venom network and venom foundation about a mainnet launch in march without any further explanation. At first I thought it was a rumor until I saw the official tweet from venom, I don’t know what must have happened behind the scenes for venom to quit and shut down three months ago but I am happy they are back. Yesterday, the CEO of Venom made a video announcing that the venom will be launching on the 18th of March and they will be conducting community airdrop for their community, this means that if you had interacted with the chain during the testnet, you might be eligible for the airdrop. Although there is a last task to do which is the mainnet task. It involves tweeting and reposting then minting the golden task NFT.
