We Are Accelerating But Are We Moving?

So I will say, this whole crypto market and the bull run noise is just affection Bitcoin and may be Solana at this point. This is because I have been stacking coins and tokens for a long time and the value of my portfolio just keeps staying stagnant. Take a look at Bitcoin, rapidly increasing and decreasing in value, but my portfolio most of my bags are in a huge dip touching new all time lows everyday. I’m so glad I decided to start buying stablecoins and holding because, the value of my assets would have been totally in the drain by now.

There was a time when I considered holding stablecoin as a waste of time and opportunity. I couldn’t imagine holding a stablecoin, having it stay idle without the hope of casually seeing the value be at over 50% in a day, so I invested heavily on altcoins and guess what? They all tanked heavily and I regretted not leaving them in stablecoins. At least while they are in a stablecoin like HBD I could have staked them on HBD savings and earn extra rewards. Now I know better but currently this makes me feel like I am stuck, I feel a constant motion but it feels like I am not moving any where.

Most times the way we measure how much work or how hard we have worked is by how much is in our possession that is ours. This is the reason some people classify the rich as hardworking and the poor as lazy. I was chatting with someone who I have been in the crypto space way longer than tell me how much he has made in crypto. He has made so much money, money I have not seen or touch in my years of experience in crypto. Although he learnt his lesson because he lost most of it all, but the other part he was able to use it to build a house. After hearing his story, I couldn’t help but feel stuck, because he doesn’t put as much work as I put and effort but yet he gets way better results. That got me asking myself “I am constantly moving in the crypto space, feels like progression but I still feel like I have no direction and I am stuck.

Opportunities and luck differs, he may have had access to better opportunities and equally lucky hence getting more for less efforts as you've reported.

Yes, the crypto market is shit right now and I don't particularly feel bad about it. We've leaned too much on hype and market cycles that we're falling back on building valuable products and services that can attract outside investments that's not driven by the urge to make quick gains.

Billions are moving through Solana but these volumes are not net positive for the ecosystem because it's all driven by the intention to exploit.
