As you know, I've recently stumbled across information about "raising our consciousness". We all need to raise our Consciousness. Part of this is simply educating ourselves on the spiritual side of the human. The human has many spiritual aspects that have been hidden from us.
I began to notice changes months ago, but it's only been weeks that I feel I understand the message. In fact, I can go back to my twenties and see how my higher self was attempting to contact me then. Regardless, here is what happened to me recently.
Several moons ago, as far back as last school year, I have had serious issues with the pick up line at my children's elementary school. Yeah, I know. I literally just chuckled out loud as I am writing this because I feel so silly about it now! Anyway, I digress, so this pick up line has gotten the best of me on multiple occasions. What I mean by this is my patience grows thin and I end up saying something to a teacher that I should not have said. Basically, I have been very rude on several occasions to people who simply do not deserve it. My actions troubled me. I have thought about it, and felt guilty about it way too often.
I needed to reconcile this emotion. That would be my Higher Self intervening. I stopped at QuikTrip to grab a coffee, but this day, I purchased two gift cards for $5 each. I would give them to the teachers along with a huge apology. So I did. Wow! The gratitude from the teachers was over the top. They even tried (unsuccessfully) to refuse the gift cards by saying the apology was enough! The entire 30-second conversation felt amazing! I wanted them to feel my sincerity. In fact, as I pulled up to the front of the line, I was able to speak to the principal from my car window. I told her she would never hear another complaint from me again. She was super surprised and extremely thankful. Every day since then the teachers and the principal all give me a huge smile and a wave. My children have definitely noticed a difference in my attitude. It pains me to think they may have been embarrassed of their father's actions. At least I know they see the positive dad now and not the negative one.
Okay, so now to the best part!
Flash Forward to last Friday. My ex-wife and I had a meeting at the school with the school psychologist. The meeting was in regards to my eight year old and her reading level. I arrived at the school this past Friday at 1 p.m. Little did I know that in the meeting would be five faculty from the elementary school. I only imagined meeting with her homeroom teacher. Nope, two of the five people in the room I recognized immediately. One of them had received an apologetic gift card from me a month prior. The other participant that I recognized was the principal of the school. Needless to say, as I entered the room, everything came together at once. Suddenly, I knew why I had apologized, why I had felt necessary to buy the gift cards, and why I had this epiphany in the first place! Can you imagine my feeling?! Actually, can you imagine what I might have felt like had I not apologized one month prior? Thank you Higher Self!
Okay, so I realize this isn't some kind of magic trick or superhero story. And some of you may even think I'm a jerk for acting that way in the first place. I'm telling you this consciousness stuff is new to me. I can name the many times I've blown up in public over the past several years. My children remember a few as well. I'm a changed man. And apparently once you begin lifting your consciousness, there is no turning back. You have to agree the unfolding of events is quite amazing! What are the odds?!
A few of my favorite intentions are:
I intend to always be in the right place at the right time.
I intend for my higher self to guide me through today with ease and simplicity.
If you think talking to yourself is corny, you must think again! Try these intentions for a few days or a few weeks. Give it time. The universe will transform to meet your needs and requirements. Make sure that you are sincere in your intentions and speak them loudly! The power of our mind is the secret that has been kept from us. Every human is capable of this for it is God's gift to each human to create.
I've never posted anywhere before. I came to Steemit because all the YouTube videos I watched spoke of censorship and demonetization. This has become my outlet for discussing this self realization. I know it's not for everyone. But if its for you then shout back. I'm interested in meeting people that may be experiencing the same thing!
