__If you have to go through something why torture yourself?__

We all go through ups and downs in life and if we worry too much we get sick.
Let’s face the fact that worry can make you sick.  

How many times have you had something happen to some one you care about to only have things work out later?

My husband found out yesterday his mother was in the hospital in an emergency and began to worry.  Who wouldn’t, right?  Well it is not going to make anyone feel better.  It just makes things worse.  So I told him she will be fine and if not we would go see about her.  In the mean time let’s go with seeing her get better.

Today she is feeling much better and all is fine.

__Devestation in life__

There are been devastating things happen in my life and I feel those events made me a stronger more resilient person.  

One of my favorite sayings is by Dale Carnegie, it goes something like this, “99% of the things we worry about never happen and the 1% when they do happen we deal with it.”

This evening I decided to take some time to share these few thoughts with you.  
Thanks to those of you who read this.  I decided not to worry if anyone reads this or not.  I figure why torture myself?

Yes, the quality of comments here is better than many other places. I've not made a special effort to not worry. It jut happened. Does meditation help? I hear people recommending it, but I've just not tried it.
