Dragons Eye ~ Second of Three Layers

Looking kind of funky with the second layer in progress, however none of my paintings look too good during their first or second layers. I have to remind myself not to give up because my paintings look like crap in the middle of the painting process. If I were to give up, which I won't this is the point in which I will start procrastinating. This is where discipline and ritual come in to help keep me going.

Life has been really busy, but I promised to paint your dragons eye. I thought, "oh this will be easy." Not so easy, once I really looked at your digital rendering, I kept seeing more detail. The smoke will be the hardest effect to capture. Thank you for giving me your idea to render.
