<p><center><h1>My First Study With Still Life In Pencil</h1></center></p>
<p>Back in 2014 after finishing up my gardening , canning, raising and selling chickens, I had the winter to kickback and do whatever I wanted. I focused on my drawing skills. This first drawing I did of a still life reminds me I need to do more traditional work. It's like reading philosophy strengthens the mind skills, traditional art practice strengthens eye/hand skills. Some of the most beautiful paintings I've seen are simple arrangements of flowers, vases, and fruit. Ordainary subjects that are beautiful when placement and light are just right.</p>
