¡Ups! ¡Parece que el Señor de Hielo tiene una debilidad que trata de ocultar!
Para el diseño de Ícaro en su versión más joven, tomé algunas libertades modificando su aspecto original: No le hice pómulos tan marcados ni el rostro tan afilado, sólo puse barba en su mentón y no en el resto de la cara, hice su cuerpo más delgado ya que no ha enfrentado tantas batallas como su versión adulta, también eliminé las plumas en sus hombros que le dan la apariencia de tener una armadura y por supuesto, el emblema en su pecho.
Una de las cosas que más me gusta del estilo de comic manga es el nivel de exageración que se puede usar sobre todo en situaciones graciosas.
Siempre me gusta agregar escenas graciosas que muchas veces nacen de manera espontánea. Recuerdo que, en una ocasión, un colega ilustrador me preguntó cómo sabía en qué momento agregarlas.
La verdad, no tengo una fórmula específica, sólo dejo que sean los mismos personajes los que dicten la pauta. Les doy espacio para que ellos se desarrollen a su propio ritmo. A veces, después de escribir alguna escena, cuando la releo termino preguntándome “y esto, ¿cómo se me ocurrió?”.
Creo que uno como escritor, tiene control sobre los personajes hasta cierto punto. Los veo como niños a los que llevas hasta que crezcan lo suficiente y ya luego, debes dejarlos tomar sus propias decisiones y rumbo. ¡Pueden llegar a sorprenderte!

For the design of Icarus in his younger version, I took some liberties by modifying his original appearance: I didn't make his cheekbones as strong or his face as sharp, I only put a beard on his chin and not on the rest of his face, I made his body more thin since he has not faced as many battles as his adult version, I also removed the feathers on his shoulders that give him the appearance of having armor and of course, the emblem on his chest.
One of the things I like most about the comic manga style is the level of exaggeration that can be used especially in funny situations.
I always like to add funny scenes that are often born spontaneously. I remember a fellow illustrator once asking me how I knew when to add them.
The truth is, I don't have a specific formula, I just let the characters themselves dictate the pattern. I give them space for them to develop at their own pace. Sometimes, after writing a scene, when I reread it I end up asking myself "and this, how did it come to me?".
I think as a writer, you have control over the characters to a certain extent. I see them as children that you take until they are old enough and then, you must let them make their own decisions and course. They may surprise you!
