[Splinterland](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/what-is-splinterlands) is the only [blockchain](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/blockchain) game that I am part of and I am happy that I chose this game at the right time. I never thought that I would be able to complete a couple of years on this game and this journey can be so fantastic but you never know how life goes in the future. Sometimes making the right decision at the right time can make things great and I would say that with this amazing game known as Splinterlands, my journey has been amazing since the beginning. If I talk about the learning then I learned a lot about the game as well as how things work in a blockchain gaming segment or play to earn which is also a trending topic in alternate social media.

This time when the market is down and similar effect we have also seen on the SPS token tries which grew after the change in the game but again it is on the downtrend. SPS is the token which is a great part of the overall game but if we talk about the value then it is really low but that is not the point of concern. it is because this is the right time when we can hire more tokens and we know that it is going to bring more benefits for the holders down the line.

#### SPS is undervalued

The price for [SPS](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-splintershards-sps) coin is low and it is less than $0.02 so, in my opinion, it is highly undervalued. There can be two situations whether you are a player in the game or you are an investor in the game project. in both cases, the SPS can be a good investment for you because if you are a player then you will be able to grab better rewards if you hold a bigger amount of SPS in your game account. while the SPS you hold will continue to earn an APR of over 15% and this is a decent amount because, in the real world, you hardly get this much to earn on the investment. Secondly, if you are the investor then you can get more tokens for less amount now, and since you will also be earning [APR](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-annual-percentage-return-apr) which will be growing your balance. You can lease out your sps power and earn some passive income through this way however it is not very high but it is still something that can make you happy since you are getting it as an add-on on top of everything.


#### SPS Utility 

Utility is very important for any coin and with SPS we get a lot of use cases in the game. For example, it plays an important role in the reward multiplier which means if we hold more then we are going to get a higher multiplier in the game reward. We can buy multiple assets in the game and also we get rewarded with the SPS for different game functions including daily quest and season and reward along with the brawl which is another function that has been doing well for the last few months. I do not play Brawl at the moment but I see a lot of people sharing their experiences about it and some of them are earning a very good amount of staked SPS. Yes, you read it right that the SPS which comes as part of the brawl reward is directly deposited in our wallet and it is not in liquid form. it is even better because it is part of the wallet balance so it contributes to the reward multiplier and whatever APR we are generating.


#### Time to Buy not to Sell

When there is greed in the market then it is the time to sell now and when it is the other way around. I have been trying to accumulate more SPS power and as of now, I have almost 44k and I am on it to make it 50k SPS. I have been trying to build more with sps and even before the change for SPS in the game, I was doing the accumulation. This change was expected and I did not sell any SPS even when the price was higher because I believe in the game and I also believe in the coin so it is OK if I missed the opportunity before but I hope this will give much more value in the long term.

I'm not sharing any financial advice here but what I discussed in the post is basically based on my experience and my strategy in the game so I will continue to accumulate as much as I can. I have no plan to sell any SPS real soon and you can see me growing my SPS balance in the future.
