Splinterland is not just a game where we can play the battles instead it is a vast ecosystem that provides us the opportunity to explore blockchain gaming as well as make some investments with profitable returns in the future. there are multiple reasons why I like this game and one of the best regions is that it provides multiple opportunities to generate passive income. Before crypto, I was not much aware of the idea of passive income but once I entered the crypto market then I realized that we have so many opportunities around us in this market. I'm so glad that I'm part of this gaming project where things have been amazing since the beginning and even now when I have completed my three wonderful years here. I never felt like there is something I am not aware of because the team always ensure that the communication is shared with the community which I like a lot.

With SPS tokens we have got the opportunity to earn a significant return however the percentage has slightly dropped in the last couple of days and currently it is less than 20%. I still believe that this percentage is not bad because on top of this PR also getting 1 token as part of the airdrop distribution.

#### SPS Staking APR 

The staking APR for SPS was more than 20% and it was stable there but now I have noticed that this has come down. The current APR is almost 19% which is less than what percentage we can earn with HBD but I still believe that this is a good option to keep the tokens here. I have made my balance more than 32K And I plan to continue accumulating because I want to reach a total of 60k sps in my account. This Plans change because Now I want to play in a higher league and with the upcoming changes in the game it will be required so before it's late when the price goes up I am trying to accumulate as much as I can at the lower price.

#### Current APR is better

I checked the calculation for the apr as per my holding and since I hold more than 32,000 SPS in total so considered the same for the calculation. Below is the snapshot where you can see that the current APR is 23% including the GLX airdrop that I am getting as per my SPS holding. The price of the GLX token is low but I believe it is just a matter of time and once we have the game available for play then it will impact the token price. There is a high probability that the price for GLX will increase and for this reason, I am accumulating that as well in my account because I believe things are going to be much more valuable in the long run.

so altogether the apr is 23% and as per my holding, I get a good number of tokens in a day so I am not going to make any changes to my strategy. I will continue to hold all my tokens in the game and also will keep on accumulating whenever I see the opportunity in the market to buy more because ultimately I want to make it 60K SPS as soon as possible. The current value is low because the market is down however once the prices will start to recover then things will not remain the same and we will be able to see some significant price appreciation.

#### My SPS Goal and Strategy

I was happy when my goal of 30K tokens was achieved last month but at that time I was not aware of the upcoming change in the game. Even this balance is not bad but since I want to play in the higher league so I would require 58K SPS in total to be there. For this reason, I have changed my goals and my new goal is 60K SPS. I know that this will take time but I'm also aware that it will be less than what it has taken from the beginning till now. I must upgrade and be ready for the upcoming changes in the game so that there is no effect on my gaming experience and I can continue to play in the league I want which is gold. I wanted to divert my focus from the SPS to some other assets but now considering the change I have decided that I will make it 60K SPS in total first then I will think about something else in the game. Maybe I get some opportunities in the game to buy assets at better prices which I will try to grab depending on the situation but my primary focus will be on SPS for the time being.
