Gaming is known for fun and entertainment but with blockchain it is not the same. Gaming is growing in the world of blockchain where we also call it to play to earn. There are two types of gaming and one is traditional gaming where we cannot earn monetary rewards in most cases. The other is blockchain gaming where in most of the projects we can earn some reward with monetary value. I have been playing Sprinterlands for the last four years and trying to build a powerful collection in the game. When I started that time also the asset value was very low. That time was a bear market when I started my gaming journey with splinterlands. Now also we are in a similar situation where the market is not bullish but somewhere in between.

This time also the prices for a splinterlands game asset are low. Almost every asset is available at a high discount this time. You can also say that crypto coins are also available at a discount so how can a game follow a different direction? I'm talking about the SPS coin which is going down and down. I don't know where this token is going to stop as far as its value is concerned and the market value is dropping continuously. It's good for me to be honest because I can buy more and I have no plan to sell soon. But this low price is not good for the game. I think this is not good because many people are losing interest which is not good for the project. 


At any given time there will be both types of people in the game where some will prefer to hold for the long term and some will not do this and they will follow the opposite strategy. I mean to say that they will continue to sell whenever they accumulate some valuable assets so we need to make some plan and deal with them. I understand that we just can't control this part because everyone is free to do whatever they want but bringing some good use of the token and assets in the game can reduce the selling pressure. Maybe the case that we don't see a bigger control but even if we can contribute to reducing the selling pressure then also it is good because it will help the token economy.

Just have a look at the chart I have shared in this post and you can see the downtrend. The entire market is in a downtrend this time and we are just a couple of days away from the Bitcoin Halling event. It's a big event that happens once in four years and the entire community is owing on Bitcoin this time. I don't know what price we will see for the Bitcoin on the day of halving but looks like SPS is going to drop a lot as the same market situation continues.

*I don't know the future price for SPS in the short term and I also can't say how it will be having the market. Simply, I'm not an expert but I believe in the team. They are the same people who have done fantastic work in the past and they are the ones who launched SPS in 2021. Because of that, we have seen massive growth on splinterlands assets in the last woman's cycle so I expect the same and can't predict whether the same type of growth we can see again on this.*
