The whole point of this is decentralization. It is not about how much SP one has and neither will be. If I own 500 sp that is ok with me, I can always buy/sell SPs from the market. FYI: SUN (SteemitINC) just pulled a shady move, from his end by using his influence : `https://steempeak.com/censorship/@mahdiyari/censorship-on-steemit-tron-episode-1` ___ Even though I do not wanna pull the above accounts but I must say, it is about the way how one entity really uses that power. For this case, (SUN) he obtained a private company which had ninja mined stake which was promised to use for the development of the Blockchain. It was his responsibility to do his own research before investing in SteemitINC. If only he would have obtained the same amount of SP/Steem via buying from exchanges the community would never have a problem with it. ___ HIVE could be a new beginning to everything!

Yes your points are all perfectly valid. My term for my position is *trying to get the currency out of the token*. It is one of those things that gain and loose influence over time. The developer/computer scientist and the investor/trader/HODLer. There seems to be room for another sister chain. It would need a different raison d'être to bring the user base to use the governance. Porn worked well in the early 90's and the spread of the internet. Maybe some base64 encrypted pics on the chain would be worth a token or two. 😎
