For the last couple of days, Arcade Colony has been creating a lot of buzz. Also projects regarding the ecosystem is also getting some hype around the Hive Blockchain. MoonKarts, Dswap.Trade, Splinterlands almost everything is going smooth. I have been trying to explore more and more into Arcade Colony and try out different aspects of the game. Which is why, today I will be watching the positions of mine in the Colony token. If possible, I would love to increase the position in the current pool.

My liquidity positions, have been slowly taking some twist and turns over the period of 30 days. Yes, it has been almost 30 days since I have provided liquidity in the [Swap.Hive:Colony](https://beeswap.dcity.io/pools/add?pool=SWAP.HIVE:COLONY) liquidity pools. Seems like there are some noticeable aspects during the period of 30 days. 

To begin with, I currently own 0.144% of the pool for my share of liquidity. I am planning to increase the amount in the upcoming days and slowly move towards 100k Colony tokens in the liquidity pool. It is probably going to take a lot of time to get there but I suppose it is doable with the strategies that I am going to implement in my upcoming adventures of exploring the eco system of Arcade Colony.

## `Facts Regarding Liquidity Pools`

As you may notice, I have been a part of impermanent loss in this pool. Yes, I have shared my POV regarding [impermanent loss](https://www.coinbase.com/learn/crypto-glossary/what-is-impermanent-loss) before. Since my position is small, it is difficult to notice. My position of liquidity was 33.89 Swap.HIVE and 24,858 Colony Tokens.  While looking at it today, it is currently holding at 33.829 Swap:Hive and 25123 Colony token. By judging the pool structure as of today I lost a slight portion of swap:Hive which is equivalent to 0.061 Swap:Hive and my position Colony tokens increased slightly, which is an increase to 265 Colony tokens in the pool. 

In addition, in terms of dollar value my exact sum of the whole position was $16.9 dollars, while as of now my position is worth $14.12. According to the calculation, I lost almost 16% in this position due to the price differences in the pool. Just imagine if my positions would have been 10x or more large than it is now I would have taken a pretty big hit. On the other hand, if the price of HIVE or colony tokens rises in the coming days my position would soar and I would make some easy money in the position.

`Rewards :` Yep! There are always rewards awaiting for any liquidity positions. It often becomes valuables whenever the price of the specific rewards increases at any given time. I received 60 Colony Tokens as reward.

`Goal to reach 100k Colony Tokens in Liquidity` : I have a long way to reach to the first goal as of the moment. I seems to be 1/4 down the road, I am yet to go for the 3/4 position. I suppose it will take some time but it is going to be worth it. I have few Colony Tokens in my balance which I have added in the current [liquidity position](https://beeswap.dcity.io/pools/add?pool=SWAP.HIVE:COLONY) o f mine. I would love to add more in the coming days. Also not to forget, I will be adding all the rewards from the pool in the existing pool.

Keeping everything in mind, I am trying to go deep in Arcade Colony. There seems to be few options that I would go for but I am willing to stay away from any sorts of betting or gambling. Which makes a no go for me in the Stakehouse den of Arcade Colony but I am also planning to dive into the game and try out MOONKARTS for the time being. Hope I get to enjoy the game like I do in Splinterlands.
