I almost forgot the taste of battles! Do not misunderstand me, I am not reffering to any sorts of battles which are related to real life events, all I am talking about is the battle of Splinterlands. That being said, I have been playing Splinterlands ranked matches. Few rules have been changed and unfortunately or not there has been some restrictions for card types which can be played in certain formats. Which is why I decided to play in the WILD Format. In addition, the current season is free of cost to play in the wild format. Usually a player has to pay a fee of 2000 DEC in order to play in WILD format. Since CA cards have been introduced this current season has been waivered and players were given a season to try out all the new cards and their abilities in the battle field.

Like I mentioned above, I have not played in WILD format for a very long time. This time trying out the Wild format, it literally gave me chills. There were lots of aspects going through my mind. I have been trying quite hard to get the grasp of the battle field, along with all the different types of cards. Let alone I had to figure out all the different types of cards which were available at my disposal. Yes, some of the abilities were going over the head of mine. Also not to forget the numbers of cards were much more and active in this format. Overall, it was quite off the chart but I somehow managed and seems like I was grabbing the tail and moving forward in this format.

I have been facing opponents who are probably little weaker than me. Which is why, you can notice the result of the battle field. So far I am undefeated at  this point. Although, before I act like a narcissist, I was literally destroyed in modern format. I mean I stood no chance in front of my opponents. It was sort of like a bloodbath in the battle field.

I must say, I still have a long way to go. So far I was able to unlock the Silver level 2 at this point. I must say, I am getting some opponents who are quite stronger than the previous ones. I suppose if I give more and more time in the game, I will get to deal with the situation in a far better way. Which is entirely the plan for now. At the very least I would like to get to gold level this season. Which is achievable from my POV based on the battles that I have played this season so far.

I wanted to try out the SURVIVAL Mode but seems like it is under maiantainance for the time being. There has been some sort of issue regarding the format and the team is eagerly waiting and doing their best to make it up and running smoothly. According to the update from the Team in DISCORD, this update will keep on going for the upcoming season as well. Although, it will be sorted out sooner than that. Till than you can enjoy the WILD and modern format. Enjoy the game with full throttle in those two formats.

I would very like to obtain few more cards in the current season via my Glint rewards, As you may notice, i am still stuck at RARE Draw atm. I would like to go for EPIC draw and unlock some cards before the end of this season. Although, I do believe I will be able to pull at the least 1 or more card at the end of this season. Which is why, I am going to take out some extra time from my schedule and polish my fighting skills in the battle field.

To be honest, while I was playing the games this season, a new level of satisfaction started flowing through my mind. I am not sure what happened but it seemed like I wanted to play more and more as I was winning in the battle field. That is probably because of various reasons other than I was winning the matches but what stroke me best was, I was enjoying while I was playing. I suppose that is what matters the most for us all. 

Keep on playing the game and enjoy it along the way. Even though the game is becoming little complicated with all the new structures, cards, abilities, investments but I suppose a game needs to evolve and keep on marching forward with the community. That is what matters at the end of the day!
