# Overview <p></p> This contribution is a simple but an advantageous suggestion for <a href = “https://steemit.com/”>Steemit</a>. <center>https://steemitimages.com/DQmRMSALFKejxfJuEFtbkyob4HSdwVVXqC8wpuNBkze15nB/image.png</center> ### Source code : https://github.com/steemit/condenser # Component(s) <p></p> It just so happened that I wanted to have some changes on my Steemit Account so I browse the Settings Section of my Steemit account. In there, I found out that under " ***CHOOSE LANGUAGE SETTINGS*** ", the only languages which are available for a mere Steemian to make a choice are English, Korean, Spanish, Russian, French, Italian. The thing here is I thought that the language " ***Filipino/Tagalog*** " is available since without a doubt, as of this moment, the number of Filipino citizens who have accounts on Steemit are highly increasing. So now, the component/section on Steemit which I wanted to have some modification is on " ***CHOOSE LANGUAGE SECTION ON STEEMIT ACCOUNT SETTINGS*** ". # Proposal <p></p> As a proud Filipino Steemian, it is my desire that my spoken national language will be acknowledged, welcomed and became part of Steemit community. It is like how Steemit community welcomed and acknowledged Filipinos to join and become part of this platform. Additional language will be added on Steemit Account Settings, specifically at Choose Language Section. 2. Acknowledgement to all Filipino Steemians; Filipino Steemians will feel more welcomed as well as it would be beneficial/helpful to those Steemians who wanted to learn the Filipino/Tagalog language. 3. If the language has been changed to Filipino/Tagalog, it will become much easier for Filipino Steemians to understand to platform. 4. This new feature will be beneficial to both the managements and its users in the sense that both of them will be able to have enhancements and developments. 5. thank you for your opinion @racykacy :) well, its just one of the choice for language setting... :) Steemit is a decentralized platform also an open source, so I guess its okay... besides this will somehow be helpful
