Hello! I believe that failure is part of life, although it sounds pessimistic to many, as human beings we are prone to make mistakes and fall in the process of achieving our goals. 

The important thing is precisely what you are doing, think a little about the reasons why you are not achieving your goals, with a vision to improve, but at the same time not letting it keep you awake at night. 

I am sure that with the mentality you have you will eventually achieve what you set out to do.

Planning is always fundamental, obviously then you have to stop and take stock of the situation to understand where you are.

In my opinion your goal is realistic, maybe you just need to add an extra day of training a week to compensate with the days off.

Furthermore, a goal of 5,000 steps is an average, consider that 10,000 steps means being very active, a bit like playing sport every day; 6000 daily steps are a good average for a person who leads a normal life and has to face the reality of work and not being able to train daily.

Fix the shot and continue on the road, you'll see that with discipline and application, the goal will be achieved at the end of the year😉
