Today I was meditating on the things in life that are replaceable and irreplaceable. We spend our lives and sometimes we consider these things after a long time of our lives has passed. But I think that these things are too important to be ignored. We have to pay attention because many people on their deathbed complain about time and the people who lost because they did not know how to put the irreplaceable things first.

We can replace a pair of shoes, a destroyed house, clothes, crockery, a car and many material things. Although for the moment seem very large losses, all these can be replaced over time with new, better or working.
You can not replace your health, because once it is lost it is difficult to recover it. You can not recover the time you lost in things that were not worth it, you can try to be better in the present and future, but you can not rescue the lost past. Rarely do you have the same opportunities twice, so you have to know when it is time to take the key to that opportunity, you never know how a new one will appear again.

The time you spend with your family or with the people you love is irreplaceable. It does not replace a good friend. Neither a son, a father or a mother, a good husband or wife. If you lose them, you feel a very great loss within you. That timely word that you received when you needed it most or that you said when someone needed you. The heart and the way we feel. The ability to think and the ability to choose. But even more grandiose, something that could never be changed by anything in this world, the sweet and sublime love of our heavenly Father. That his presence accompanies us and we can feel it in our lives even in the most adverse moments is an indescribable and unique feeling, nothing can replace it. The joy that causes you to share or the knowledge that you have succeeded in something. The forgiveness that you offered from the heart or that you experienced when you met the Lord.

I do not want to replace or remove from my life the things and people that deserve to be irreplaceable. But usually the things that seem irreplaceable to us are those that really matter to us. The life that God gives us is unique, so we have to go through bittersweet moments. Love is so vital and necessary that we can not say that we have lived life if we do not experience it in our hearts. But what I'm trying to say is that we should spend more time on those things and people that are worth it for the value they have for us; and invest less life and less attention in what hinders us and that takes us time to share, enjoy and be happy.

Do not change what is worth in your life for something unreal, fantasy, that does not exist or that is not worth it. Do not go as the saying goes: "nobody knows what he has until he loses it".
