RECYCLE is the most essential subject in every sector nowadays. All of us are well-known with this word, but we found a few to implement in our real life. The population is growing gradually all over the world, and our resources are becoming limited day by day, which is a big concern. By understanding the importance of recycling, people are quite aware of it. We often see textiles, irons, plastics, rubbers, etc, items being now nowadays, but we should also start recycling in other sectors like household waste. Somehow, we can see the starting of recycling in a snail’s pace, it’s working, but not expectantly. There are a few rules and regulations, also negligence in utilizing is often found. To save our earth from any negative climate change and leave this world a friendly living planet for future generations, we should take care of it and concentrate on the utilization of recycling in a proper way. Recycling is almost absent in personal life and living, a few people are trying to implement recycling in their lives, which is not enough. In this stage, raise the awareness of recycling and its positive results among citizens of every country, and spreading the practice of recycling in all societies could bring great results from recycling. Some developing countries are trying to encourage people the recycle and they are getting good results from that. Unfortunately, the percentage is too low for the existence of recycling worldwide. Every country is trying to utilize recycling nationwide, which sounds good, but we are not seeing it in practice.

In my personal daily life, there is not enough opportunity to implement recycling, Unfortunately, I have little experience in the recycling of plastic industries. By the year of 2010, I established a PET Bottle recycling factory ownself. At that time, I exported 500 tons of PET flakes (Cold washed) to China and Taiwan per month by collecting different small crushing factories countrywide. Which was a great transition and geared up my business life with high profit. And it was the inspiration for me to establish a recycling industry. But I was not lucky enough to run that factory, my factory was shut down due to electricity and some political issues. Now the factory looks like an abandoned property, all the machinery was theft and robbed. I lost 1,500,000 USD for that factory, which destroyed my business completely. I’m suffering from that loss till today. Although it was a bad experience for me, I understood the importance of plastic recycling. On the other hand, by exporting textile waste and wiping rags, I’m contributing to recycling in my business till today.

A lot of plastic and textile recycling projects are running in our country, both on a small and medium scale, but there is more opportunity that exists in this recycling industry. Some textile recycling factories are running as a joint venture with other countries, which is appreciable and noticeable. Some local textile brands are developing recycled fabrics and earning foreign currencies for our country, which is a great initiative for a developing country. Iron recycling industries are widely found in Bangladesh as rerolling iron mills, which is appreciable. Bangladeshi exporters are doing a better job by exporting textile and garment waste, plastics, and electronics waste. But there is still an absence of household waste recycling and regeneration of power or electricity, or a biogas project. Some people are doing a biogas project in the private sector on a small scale through their dairy and poultry farms, as it is a different type of recycling than we ever thought. But the government is not taking any steps for recycling industries, which is a big concern for the nation. I’m trying to utilize recyclable items by reusing them in my life, and I follow and believe the recycle, reuse, and regenerate theory for a better future for our next generations and planet.
