Into the Kingdoms, sticking with what I know (sort of!)

I've learnt the moderately-difficult way that I'm probably better off just sticking with [CubDefi](https://cubdefi.com/kingdoms) where DEFI is concerned! 

So I've very recently piled into the Kingdoms and recently gone in harder on the bleo-BNB and DEC-BUSD farms too....

I won't disclose how much I've put into those three Kingdoms (but enough to yield me over 20 Cub in 24 hours) or the farms, but I'm back to about 80% in CubDefi now, up from 65% a couple of weeks back, and TBH half of what's on PolyCat is now just sitting there waiting to go into Cub when that launches on Polygon! 

I say that learning to stick with Cub has been a 'moderately difficult' rather than a 'hard' lesson - because I've tried out several other DEFI options including:

- [Panther on BSC](https://leofinance.io/@revise.leo/just-took-everything-out-of-panther-bsc-should-have-just-stuck-with-cub)
- [PolyCat Finance on Polygon](https://leofinance.io/@revisesociology/diversifying-out-of-binance-smart-chain-and-into-polygon-thorswap-and-cosmos) 
- [Osmosis on Cosmos](https://leofinance.io/@revise.leo/into-osmosis-liquidity-pools-gently) and (of course)
- [ThorSwap](https://leofinance.io/@revisesociology/y-experience-adding-liquidity-to-thorchain-main-two-out-of-three-ain-t-bad) - Rune. 

But I HAVEN'T actually LOST any money from trying the above Platforms out. 

Rather, I've piled into the top three and found that after a few weeks the returns are coming down and I've just about covered my entry fee, then the returns were worse than the sustained returns on Cub. 

Although having said that, this was while the Cub price was coming down and down too. 

And with the later, well, ThorSwap has just been hacked and the Rune price has dropped to below $5 - but when you bought most of your Rune at $0.40, I can't really count that as a loss (I'm not in the ETH pool!).

So as far as the top three are concerned - I should have just stuck with Cub rather than chasing those initial APYs which then rapidly sunk! 

### So here I am, sticking for now (mainly) with Cub!

Although in fairness I never really pulled that much out of Cub in the first place! 

Oh, and I say 'sticking with what I know sort of' because [BELT](https://belt.fi/bsc) is new to me, watch this space for a post on that, spoiler - after an initial 'WTF IS BELT' moment, I now quite likes what I sees!

Ive had the same process but without actually managing to get in to any other Defi projects, just hovering around the edge of them, wasting a lot of time thinking, purchasing the defi coins at overly high prices, and always eventually deciding that the hassle just doesnt seem worth it for the impact on my brain! Im just not cut out for complications...
And yet CUB.
Somehow it has always offered me comfort, and so I too continue to pile in to CUB. Although mostly just in to the CUB kingdom where I feel safe. I havnt yet dared to swap my Eth for beltEth....after seeing what happened to Rune, and not knowing much about Belt, I feel like being cautious

I've wasted a lot of time digging around the DEFI space, probably made no more than had I just stuck with Cub and not thought about it, which is what I'm doing now! 

I'm trying to get into the habit of only moving funds around two days a week now. Rather than being online all day. 

Most of my ETH and BTC are in cold storage, I wouldn't risk too much on these platforms. 

I'm sure Rune will bounce back.

I barely have enough in Cub for me to divisify yet! I also see Cub as an on-ramp to other Defi projects, when I feel like I get to much.

Well that's interesting. Not you going back to CubDefi but you piling into DEC-BUSD.

Can you explain your rational? I'be been wondering if I should get out since I've lost 90K DEC in that farm in less than a month. And, with SPS coming, I don't want to be losing my DEC. &#128513;

I've made more BUSD and CUB of course but my DEC is now more precious to me.

Basically I've lost what I've lost as far as DEC is concerned and I can't see the price of it going up that much more! 

But if it does go up I don't mind selling a bit of DEC on the way up for stables. 

My gut tells me I should be cashing out something from Splinterlands now, this is the least painful way to do it.
