Weekly Running Update... Getting them in!

So I was in a holding pattern last week with the running, TBH I was a bit knackered after a weekend away, and besides I only try and best my recent 5K time every fortnight, so I was taking it easy there! 

I was just happy to get them in!

### Tuesday fast-ish 5K 

I managed a 4.46 pace around my local route, I was aiming for low 4.40s, so given that I was feeling knackered I will take this!

### Thursday intervals

I was quite happy with these, my regular route really lends itself to a nice spread of two 6-800 metre warm up intervals and then a short 200, then a 400, then another 200, then two 350 metre intervals to round off. 

I only aim to get the last four under a 4.00 pace, but 3.50 seems easy enough, the 3.33 is just a rare spike.

### Sunday slow run 

Same route as my fast run, but I keep an eye on my heart rate and keep it below 150 BPM, which means I take a couple of walking breaks along the way....

I upped this to 6K this week, hardly a long run, but longer than the week before! 

### Next week's plans...

Well Tuesday I'll see if I can do a 4.35 pace on that route, and then with the intervals I think I'll crank the last two up to 2 400 metres, then I've got 4 fast intervals at the end - 3 by 400 and 1 by 200M, and then after I might start hitting the running track again, intervals are going well. 

Not sure where I'm gonna take the Sunday run, I don't feel the need to do long runs, I might stick at 6-7K for a while!
