***Corazón.***

Mi corazón late tan fuerte 
que en conversaciones de gente gritona
se escucha.
Late tan fuerte, diciéndome cosas
importantes, inspiradoras.
Me dice que el amor es repartible,
entre personas que sonríen genuinamente.
Que lo reparta, sí
y que me atragante de él.

¿Cómo?

Como grandes cucharadas de amor propio al día.
Y es difícil con los cabellos atravesados en los labios.
Con los dientes grandes y chuecos en la boca.
Entre las enfermedades que me acompañan,
mi corazón es sanador,
cuantas más cucharadas entran por mí, ahora.

Mis latidos son tan fuertes
que vibran por donde pasan.
Sonidos estridentes que regañan, aconsejan
y sanan.
Viví tanto tiempo sin escucharlos,
que se me dañaron los oídos un rato.
pero, ¡es buena música!
Ahora bailo a su ritmo.

En mis primeros días fue difícil el bombeo de sangre, 
con o sin grandes latidos.
Los hospitales tienen demostraciones de afecto,
pero poco amor.
Los latidos eran débiles al igual que mi cuerpo.
Con mucha espera, y fríos momentos,
la oportunidad llegó y ahora vibro.
Mejor que nunca, agradezco.

Agradezco por las oportunidades,
por la cura
y por la música que hago yo misma
Al seguir mis latidos,
al seguir mis instintos,
puedo amar infinitamente
y en miles de planos distintos.</center>

***Heart.***

My heart beats so strong 
that in conversations of shouting people
it can be heard.
It beats so loud, telling me 
important, inspiring things.
It tells me that love is shareable,
among people who genuinely smile.
To spread it around, yes
and that I should choke on it.

How?

Like big spoonfuls of self-love a day.
And it's hard with hair across my lips.
With big, crooked teeth in my mouth.
Between the illnesses that come with me,
my heart is a healer,
more spoonfuls that come through me, now.

My heartbeat is so strong
that they vibrate wherever they go.
Strident sounds that scold, advise, 
and heal.
I lived so long without listening to them,
that my ears were damaged for a while.
But it's good music!
Now I dance to its rhythm.

In my early days it was hard to pump blood, 
with or without big beats.
Hospitals have demonstrations of affection,
but little love.
The heartbeats were weak and so was my body.
With a lot of waiting, and cold moments,
the opportunity came and now I vibrate.
Better than ever, I am thankful.

I am thankful for the opportunities,
for the healing
and for the music I make myself
By following my heartbeat,
by following my instincts,
I can love infinitely
