You want to lose weight and stay healthy. That's your goal. Some people think that it has to be hard to get the results. And they do a lot of things to lose weight. In the end, they get frustrated and give up.  People get frustrated because it seems too hard to keep doing it or they do not see the result quickly. Once you gain weight, it takes time to lose weight. It is comparatively easier to maintain the balance before gaining weight. But we get serious when we have already gained weight. You might take walking for granted. You think what walking can do because it is simple. Yes, everyone can walk. It is the easiest and simplest form of exercise. You can do it at any age. If you do some workout that you hate, you might not do that consistently. You do that workout once or twice a week or, you walk 30 minutes five days a week. You see good results from walking. When you do any workout, consistency matters. If you do exercise very hard one day, but you do not do anything after that the whole week, it will not bring good results as per your expectation. You need to do exercise regularly.  Even though you have never done any exercise, you can start walking regularly. Just spend some time, you will definitely see the positive results. Besides walking, you need to eat healthy. Again if you eat too much healthy food, it will add more calories. So just because something is healthy to eat, don't eat too much. Do you think walking alone is boring? So why don't you invite your friends? It would be fun and you will have a great time while walking. You can walk with your kids or spouse. Make it fun. If you aren't a fitness fanatic you can at least go for regular walks as it still gets the blood pumping and outside in the fresh air. I know lots of older people do this regularly and it helps them lead a healthier lifestyle. My mother who is in her 80's walks nearly 10 km 4 times a week and is super healthy.

walking is a fantastic way to stay in shape and more people should follow this sage advice because everyone without a disability can walk, right? I have several friends who lost a bunch of weight simply by altering their diet a bit and doing a 30 minute walk after dinner every night. It takes a lot less effort than most people think.
