You do something but you are consistent on that. You don't get what you expect because of that. So what prevents you from being consistent with what you are doing?

You are very excited at the beginning. Later you lose interest. If that's the reason for not being consistent, ask yourself why you started this in the first place. Do you think it is important to you? If yes, you have to be consistent. Maybe you see other things and jump to do that. If you keep jumping from one thing to another, you cannot get anything done eventually. You have to stop doing that. There are many reasons behind not being consistent. Find out the root cause and then fix that.
