Why are you get involved in a fight? Is it because you can fight and hit someone? Or, do you want to prove something?

When there is any fight, there is always someone who can hurt. Inviting someone to fight just to prove that you can beat him is a bad idea. Martial art should be used only for self defense.

If you practice martial arts as sports and your ultimate goal is to win the fight and be a champion, that's a different story. In a fighting competition, there are rules and you cannot hit the way you want. Fighters usually use safety guards for protection.  

So if it's not a sport, what do you want to prove to fight with someone?

Do you want to prove that your martial art is better than his?

The thing is, there are many factors that determine who is going to win. Even someone practices a martial art that is better for self defense, if he is not good at it, he might lose in a fight. Most of the time, it depends on the practitioners how good he is.

If someone fights and hurts someone without any reason, that's wrong. Martial art is to stop the violence, not to create more. A good martial artist is not arrogant. He or she does not fight because of hate, he or she fights because of love.

We love our friends and family. In order to defend yourself and save your loved one's life, you use your martial arts skills. Being a good person is the most important thing in life.

When a martial artist trains, he or she understands what it feels like being hurt. You learn how to be disciplined, respect others, and love people.

It is a childish behavior to get in a fight to show you are good at fighting or your martial art is better than someone else. Every martial art has its strength and weakness. You see one martial art master respects other martial art master and love to learn from each other.
