Choosing the right <a href="https://www.houseandcanvas.com/diy/2018/01/front-door-color-inspiration.html">paint color for your  front door </a> can often times be a daunting task.  Some people swear by certain practical ideas like "you never put a black front door on a south facing house".  Some people believe color has mood altering or other spiritual consequences like those found in Feng Sui.  A red door on a south facing house being one of the more common bold looks.

Inspiration is all around us.  Drive around your neighbourhood - or spend the day on <a href="https://www.pinterest.com/houseandcanvas">pinterest</a>.  What is on the other side of the door? Don't be afraid to experiment (unless you are on a budget) - sometimes you have to live with a color before you can really determine if you like it or not.  If you are like me - you would be content painting your door a few times a year!
