Introducing My Newly Hatched Bsf Larvae To The Main Feed.

The bsf eggs will therefore hatch if the temperature is suitable after three days of incubation..

Here, temperature plays a crucial role. Some people place the egg container in an enclosed space where the temperature is ideal for the hatching of black soldier fly eggs.

The organic substance present will be consumed as soon as the eggs hatch. It could be difficult to see them clearly as they eat at this point. If you feel the bottom of the container with your hand, it will be warm, which is a positive indication that they are doing well. 

This demonstrates that they are performing their duties or decomposing the organic material.

The main thing to watch out for at this point is that the substrate doesn't become overly dry, as this could result in the larvae dying.

After five days, they may have finished everything that was given to them, at which point it is appropriate for them to start consuming the primary trash. 

Chicken poop, pig waste, kitchen scraps, and other organic waste are all collected in the main waste van. The trash should only be in a semi-liquid state because this can break it down more quickly than if it were in a solid state.

the fermented palm kernel cake (PKC) and rabbit feces were all semi-liquid when I utilized them, making it easy for the bsf larvae to eat.

The placement of dry waste or feed around the boundaries of seni-liquid waste is always advised because it prevents black soldier fly larvae from crawling out of the trash and staying where they were.



It's also crucial to avoid filling the container with too much primary waste at once, since this could prevent the larvae from moving around easily to eat their meal.
I prefer to ping of the bin with fresh food every 2-3 days and seive when the container gets too full.
