Hello friends, today, starting another week, we're going to reflect on this topic: wealth and poverty, but above all, on human integrity, regardless of social status.

In my opinion, many people associate a lack of money with a lack of cleanliness, as if they were the same thing. But that's not the case, because money can help, of course. It's not what defines whether a person is clean, organized, or self-caring. I can say that I've seen very modest homes, with few furnishings and without great amenities, but where everything is tidy, clean, with the smell of bleach in the air, and attention to detail. They are small, simple spaces, but treated with dignity, and that means a lot to me.

I've also been in large homes, with everything of the finest, where disorganization reigns, dirt accumulates, and where one feels that comfort and material possessions are not synonymous with care or hygiene. Having money makes things easier, without a doubt because it allows you to buy quality cleaning products, have help cleaning, furnish your home in a practical way, or simply have more time and energy to keep everything in order. But money doesn't guarantee mopping the floor, picking up laundry, or washing dishes, among other tasks.

For me, for example, cleanliness and organization often come from the upbringing you received, from the value you place on the space you live in and the body you inhabit. And this is independent of wealth, because some people with little get up early to sweep the yard, iron clothes, and scrub the stove because that's how they learned. It's a form of respect for themselves, others, and the environment they live in, and that's very important.

But we also have to consider other aspects; of course, there are difficult contexts. Those who work long hours, come home exhausted, have small children, bills to pay, and little support, may not have the strength to keep everything spotless. Exhaustion and overwhelm also take a huge toll. But even in these cases, we often see an admirable effort to maintain dignity and a tidy home, even when almost everything is missing.

Cleanliness, for me, is a reflection of care; it has nothing to do with expensive brands, magazine-worthy houses, or new clothes; it's about doing the best you can with what you have. An old but washed sweater, a worn but swept floor, a tired but washed body at the end of the day—these gestures say much more than any appearance.

Money can buy comfort, but it can't buy habits. It can't buy willpower or values. Therefore, it's not the bank balance that determines who is clean or not, but rather the attitude, the routine, the way one deals with what one has. And often, it's in the simplest homes that we find the greatest examples of care, organization, and respect.

Through all of this, I've learned not to judge by appearances because there are those who live with little and manage to maintain everything with a cleanliness and orderliness that speaks volumes. And that, to me, is worth a lot.

Olá amigos hoje a iniciar mais esta semana vamos refletir sobre este tema, sobre a riqueza e a pobreza mas acima de tudo sobre a integridade humana independentemente do seu estatuto social.
Na minha opinião muita gente associa falta de dinheiro a falta de limpeza, como se fosse tudo a mesma coisa. Mas não é porque o dinheiro pode ajudar, claro, mas não é ele que define se uma pessoa é limpa, organizada ou se cuida. Eu posso dizer que já vi casas muito modestas, com poucos móveis e sem grandes condições, mas onde tudo está arrumado, lavado, com cheiro a lixívia no ar e atenção aos pormenores. São espaços pequenos, simples, mas tratados com dignidade e isso para mim tem muito valor.

Eu também já entrei em casas grandes, com tudo do bom e do melhor, onde a desorganização reina, a sujidade se acumula e onde se sente que o conforto e os bens materiais não são sinónimo de cuidado ou higiene. Ter dinheiro facilita, sem dúvida porque dá para comprar produtos de limpeza de qualidade, ter ajuda para limpar, mobilar a casa de forma prática, ou simplesmente ter mais tempo e energia para manter tudo em ordem mas não é o dinheiro que lava o chão, apanha a roupa ou lava a louça entre outras tarefas.

Por exemplo para mim limpeza e organização vêm, muitas vezes, da educação que se recebeu, do valor que se dá ao espaço onde se vive e ao corpo que se habita. E isso não depende de riqueza porque há pessoas com pouco que se levantam cedo para varrer o quintal, passar a roupa, esfregar o fogão, porque foi assim que aprenderam. É uma forma de respeito por si próprias, pelos outros e pelo ambiente em que vivem e isso é algo muito importante.

mas também temos de ver outros pontos, claro que há contextos difíceis. Quem trabalha horas a fio, chega a casa esgotado, tem filhos pequenos, contas a pagar e pouco apoio, pode não ter forças para manter tudo impecável, a exaustão e a sobrecarga também têm um peso enorme. Mas mesmo nesses casos, muitas vezes vemos um esforço admirável para manter a dignidade e a casa em ordem, mesmo que falte quase tudo.

A limpeza, para mim, é um reflexo do cuidado, não tem nada a ver com marcas caras, casas de revista ou roupa nova, tem a ver com fazer o melhor possível com aquilo que se tem. Uma camisola velha, mas lavada, um chão gasto, mas varrido, um corpo cansado, mas lavado ao fim do dia e sses gestos dizem muito mais do que qualquer aparência.

O dinheiro pode comprar conforto, mas não compra hábitos. Não compra vontade, nem valores, por isso, não é o saldo bancário que mostra quem é limpo ou não mas sim é a atitude, a rotina, a forma como se lida com o que se tem. E muitas vezes, é nas casas mais simples que encontramos os maiores exemplos de cuidado, organização e respeito.

Por tudo isto, aprendi a não julgar pela aparência porque há quem viva com pouco e consiga manter tudo com uma limpeza e arrumação que dizem mais do que mil palavras. E isso, para mim, vale muito.
