Honestly I have mixed feelings about @booster. Sometimes it gives me decent ROI, but quite often I have had big losses with it in the past.

I heard about @booster before and tried it twice. I can say it went good not bad but sometimes it comes with a vote that deserves less than the SBD amount you sent

personally, I'm careful and patient and I think more when it comes to dealing with steem because I see steem as a good investment opportunity so, I prefer converting SBD into STEEM and hold it because I really think STEEM will reach $10 worth later

So you have found that even without calculating how much others have put in for that voting block etc that you generally get more vote worth out of it than it costs you?

Booster is one of the few bid vote bots which does refund. 
Most of the rest change their bidding policies often, and I happened to have a bit SBD confiscated from me by another voting bot I do not want to promote here.  
So booster is safe to use,  unlike most of the other bots that have a "no refund" policy.
